I don't know if I'm being a bit thick but I don't get this thread at all!
If you've got a temporary position and held it down for 6 months, then surely that shows you are capable of work?
Why do you think you condition will prevent you doing a similar job in the future?
Am I missing something...?
That's exactly what I've been getting right from the start! You can't be on ESA, then work for 6 months and then just decide you'll go back onto ESA again because you prefer it.
To be fair to the OP, I think s/he knows this - it's just some others with an axe to grind who've been muddying the waters.0 -

Ive no axe to grind just pointing out the facts, you cannot say something that is incorrect and expect no one to pick you up on it, you clearly said if you are capable of working you should not be on ESA, I simply pointed out this is not ALWAYS the case, no muddying of waters at all.0 -
I would suggest making an appointment to speak with the disabilities advisor at your local job centre. Explain the full story and ask their advice. I would guess we don't know the full story about what job you are doing, what hours, whether it is a work trial or permitted work thing etc. People need to stop being !!!!!y to people on these forums who are ill/sick/disabled and who have legitimate questions that concern them! It is very unfair!0

I'm not sure what word your asterisks stand for but nobody has been unpleasant to the OP on this thread and nobody has done anything but try to answer his/her question accurately.0 -

"That is exactly what I am asking
My health has not improved" how do you know that this work experience has not made her worse than she was to start with or given her so much pain she is struggling to manage the job at all. how do you know the job hasnt made her symptoms twice as bad? you are all presuming she has managed it perfectly. i worked as long as i could but believe me it nearly killed me until my consultant and boss said i had to stop. you seem to take pleasure in telling people to "get to work there is nothing wrong with you"!0 -

As ONW has said permitted work can only be for up to 16 hours and work trials only last for a maximum of two weeks, ergo we do know that neither of these situations apply to the OP and what your etc refers to I can't possibly imagine.
Get your facts right and read the thread in full before you start with your childish name calling!"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -

You are just making things up. Although her health hasn't improved she has said nothing about it's becoming worst and she plans to work for the next three months.
Please don't let your imagination run away with you.0 -

what have i made up?
i did not say she has got worse, i said how do you know she hasnt ? -that is totally different, what i was meaning was no one has bothered to ask if she has found it hard or easy or has she had days off sick -has it cause pain or discomfort etc.
i said "you are all presuming she has managed it perfectly" .
my imagination hasnt run away with me in the slightest - i just try to look at both sides of the coin unlike most of the others who presume things are all rosy because i worked and made my illnesses worse.0 -
I never intended to cause this argument and yes my health has deteriorated slightly since I started the part time (not Permitted work) job - it was not an official JOB TRIAL - But I was offered it on that basis (to give me some work experience) - hence the original question - What will happen after the 6 months are up ?
Incidentally - there is a rule that PRESERVES the pre-work rate of ESA for up to 24 months when returning to ESA - Which is all well and good, if I am allowed back on it again .....0 -

The JCP will question why, if you have been fit for work for the past six months, you do not feel that you are fit for work now? If the position had carried on, would you have been fit to continue?Gone ... or have I?0
