parking charge notice (Vehicle Control Services Ltd)

  • Hello all,
It would seem Vehicle Control Services are still a think 6 years on.
Stupidly, before doing any searching online, I appealed the pcn I received with the reasoning that the local council would only charge £30 for blocking a disabled spot yet they want £60 for stopping in an unused carpark for an hour.

After today the charge will become £100, what should I do? The consensus seems to just ignore but I've already acknowledged the fine and confirmed my name & address by responding.

Have you received a reply to your appeal yet? It isn't going to be accepted and so wait for the rejection and use our help to run a POPLA appeal. That should see the end of the matter.

Oh and read the Newbies thread.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

So what actual date did the alleged parking contravention occur?
