  • Think about it.., have u lost any money? Even with the broken items u can reclaim the money back. So stop stressing. U've lost time, don't lose out because of the stress. U've been unlucky with so many bad transactions in a week but unless u are new to ebay.., I bet u've made/saved a fortune over time. If you haven't.., as others have said u need to rethink how u use ebay. I couldn't manage without it and rarely lose out.

Then you haven't been selling for long. If I list something now for £4.99 it costs me 15p. It used to cost me 20p listing fee plus 15p gallery fee.

FVFs have gone up, but i prefer having the higher costs on when I sell rather than higher costs just for listing. I don't think paypal fees have changed, but now I have a micro account I'm even saving there as well
I just wish I'd persevered with trying to get a micro account years ago instead of giving up when paypal made it too difficult.

    I never knew these existed.

I've just googled it and it seems too good to be true!

Is there a catch? Paypal are happy to take lower fees on low cost items?

Yep, I'm saving a lot on my lower priced items. The only time you lose out is if you use the micro account on your listing but the item goes a lot higher than expected as you can't change it to the main paypal account.

It took me a while to get it opened, but it was worth it.

You were obviously selling the wrong things then. I've had virtually no problems at all, and i've corresponded with some really lovely people all over the world.

I love my holidays too much to give up such a profitable place.

I don't sell soolin I am only a very disgruntled buyer.

How about this one my wife bought a camera, not a proper camera one of those electronic jobs that you put pics on your computer with.

It came with a sticker on it "property of ********* school" (a school in london)

If I were rich and money didn't matter to me I would buy from ebay just for entertainment purposes just to see what these con men dream up next.:D

What did the seller say when you opened a SNAD claim?

I regularly see old books in Oxfam that are ex-library. If you are concerned about stolen property, though, I would get in touch with the school.
