Andy was referring to infomonkey's post I believe.
But never the less, I did change tariff which meant technically I was bound by the new T&C's, though they still didn't inform me when I changed about the new policy regarding tariff change. If they had told me about it when I changed tariff, then fair enough, but they didn't.
I suggest anyone else in this situation give retentions a call and threaten the end the agreement, they seem to have the most power.0 -

Yes indeed. After 9 months have passed (December), I can reduce it once and then once per month thereafter. I actually came out better off because they downgraded it to £40 from £45 for me as a gesture of goodwill and I haven't even had the phone for 9 months yet. So not only do I have it cheaper for the time being, I will also be on the lowest £25 tariff 1 month before I would have been if they hadn't changed the terms.0
