"Virgin £10 with cable monthly contract .300 x-net minutes 300 texts (usually £20) .
Voicemail in the UK is free too. With the Virgin Mobile SIM offer, there's no minimum term and no ties. After your first month, you're free to leave Virgin Mobile when you choose"
Existing as well as new NTL/Telewest customers can apply.

This was discussed in this thread.
The Virgin PayMonthly SIM Only contract is currently available for £15 instead of the usual £20 for those that don't come under the t&c of the £10 offer by NTL/Telewest. In other words, you can still take advantage of the offer without needing to be an NTL/Telewest customer albeit it will cost £5 more each month. Still it's a good deal never the less.
More info here.
This is handy for those that aren't elligible for NTL/Telewest's offer and are only interested in the great-value sim only contract.
Although it is a monthly contract it is only a 30 day contract and for clarification it is a SIM only contract which means no handset.
You can still get the 300min and 300text on a contract with a handset but it costs a minimum of £25 per month for first 12months. The better the handset the more expensive the monthly contract and/or you get substantially less mins/texts.0
