Daveejay - thanks for the encouragement very much appreciated:D

Iris - Haven't spoken to them yet - seems as though they have changed mobile phone numbers. This happens a fair bit and is one of the pitfalls of most businesses.

Good news - tenants have paid:j

Couldn't get hold of them by conventional means phone/at the property/fired off an email and within an hour had had a response saying that they thought that they had transferred the money on the 1st but would check when they got home. This was Saturday night (6th)

By Sunday morning (7th) the money was in my account, think they simply forgot to do the transfer.:j

Glad the rent has finally be paid, must have been worrying especially when you couldn't contact them.

How is the decorating going? Problem is once you've done one room it makes the others look grubby and you have to keep going!

I'm searching pre schools for DD1 (very MSE want to use our 15 free hours once she is three)

Applied for a graduate job, I know this is strange as I have only been in my current shop job for two weeks, but it has given me the confidence to realise I like working, after 14 months as a SAHM.

got home today and we have been accepted on the sun hols - didn't think we would get one, as we only put one date and you are supposed to put five, but we did put 8 parks we would go to.

Anyway have had to pay the balance on that - The sun have cashed my cheque plus the extras, so only have 80 to last 10 days. Another tight month.

On the plus side this will be our third UK hol this years, 3 weeks away per year isn't bad. quite looking forward to it. Bonus is we will be away for Dan's bday in July. Not so good, away the first week in July for DD2s b day, home for a few days then away for 3rd week in July.

Am hoping I don't get all the Olympic tickets I applied for or there will be no holidays for me next year except for East London :rotfl:.

You'll have a great summer, 3 weeks having fun :j, with the girls being so small you won't have the same demands for cash as when they are older so make the most of it :)

Very proud of my DD1 today, as we have managed to secure her a place at a very good pre school. Unfortunately it happens to be on an estate where you can't buy a house for less than a million, this is very high for Yorkshire.

Just walking over there today, we went past a very expensive shoe shop, porsche garage, kitchen showroom (all bespoke naturally) didn't see any mums without very very high heels, botox, blonde hair extensions, sunglasses (it's raining for bleeps sake). Naturally I'm too young for botox:rotfl:

Will need my diary more than ever, so we don't end up keeping up with the Jones'. DD1 starts in Jan, so getting excited for her

Just remember - half the time the Jones's can't really afford it either, it's all on credit (at not at 0% either!). ;)

But you have the hair extensions and heels? :p

Hey don't knock it ...lol .. I agree Auntie my extensions once cost me £500 ( I actually think they were £700 but writing down £500 makes me feel better:o ) and of course I didn't have the cash it went on the Credit card..I was paying interest on my hair! mad!
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
