OS meet in Edinburgh Nov 27

I will be wearing my sparkly pin with a safety pin for each meet so far hanging from it.....I will be the short fat woman accompanied by a cranky looking bald man and we will probably still be dragging a navy and green suitcase respectively as don't think we can check into hotel until 3pm....in addition to the pin I will be wearing every stitch of clothes I own....I've been in Edinburgh before!!

Jackie....our flight gets in around 8am I think so maybe we could meet earlier than 12.30...will text you when we arrive.

Marie cant you dump the case at the hotel until you check in ? They usually let you do that

Probably can Mardatha...OH will want to know why we need 2 cases for an overnight....the man hasn't a clue, I might feel the need to buy something at the Christmas markets, although was at one in my local town on Saturday and got a dose of the means, so bought nothing.

I've arranged to stay over at a friend's in Edinburgh so could possibly meet earlier too?
I'll probably have to disappear at various points during the day though as I'm dog-sitting for my host

I managed to count around 20 people, including all OHs, children and "not sures" so have booked 3 booths in the Filling Station on Rose Street for 1.30 on Saturday. They don't do the lunchtime meal deals on weekends unfortunately, but it's not too dear anyway and portions are quite big. I can change the time if needs be.

I know there's a filling station on the Royal Mile too which is closer, but I've always got better service in the Rose Street one!

Getting all excited again now :j

Swan....was thinking about kefir, would like some, but they are barstewards at Edinburgh airport in my experience so they might not let me through with it....not sure, maybe a very small amount in a plastic bag so that they can see it and I can taste it to assure them that its not some type of poison or explosive.

Would be lovely to meet for a coffee or such during the morning Swan....don't have a number for you....maybe pm me

I am arriving at ten to ten Marie, and am meeting Mardatha just after ten, we haven't sorted out exactly where yet, so we could all five meet up if it suits?

Dont come upto the bus station unless I text that I'm on the bus - if its snowing I wont get in.
