Me too La Cara, accompanied by OM.

Swan....was thinking about kefir, would like some, but they are barstewards at Edinburgh airport in my experience so they might not let me through with it....not sure, maybe a very small amount in a plastic bag so that they can see it and I can taste it to assure them that its not some type of poison or explosive.

Would be lovely to meet for a coffee or such during the morning Swan....don't have a number for you....maybe pm me
    Marie
oh lord don't let them taste the kefir! or they will think it's poison! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I gave some to a friend once & they forgot about it for a few days in the height of summer & they threw it all away because it was smelly! a few days of fresh milk would have sorted it :(

I'll find a wee container to bring it in & give it a feed at my friend's house
for all the time you'll be travelling, before you leave you could drain it & put it in a ziplock bag (I should have a small one knocking about you can use) then there won't be any liquid involved, just give it some milk when you get home & it'll recover :)

will PM you, would be nice to meet in the morning :A
  • Jackie, can you pm me with your mobile number, just in case I have to call off at the last minute, La - Cara could do with yours too incase ..........

Well I suppose it depends on HOW smelly it was.... I mean, would you fancy washing a cat or a snake ?
(The ziplock bag is to hide the smell from the airport people .I know this. )
  • I have been having a wee look here http://www.edinburghschristmas.com/content/Map/2459 to get an idea of what exactly is on. There is the German Christmas Market, the Highland Village market, and the Farmer's Market. Also, because its St Andrew's weekend, there are free events on all day in St Andrew's Square, including poetry reading and storytelling if anyone is so inclined. It also sounds as if there will be some nice things to do with the children, Confuzzled and Kezlou (and possibly me at this rate, although I hope not!!!)
