i do truly hate the state that this place gets into sometimes. One of the side effects of using up my toiletry stash will be an empty draw in a chest of draws, a shelf in our 'larder' type cupboard and a 80ltr plastic tub on top of the wardrobe! I could put a fair bit of stuff away if i could free up this space.

That was one of my reasons for wanting to do it as well - I harbour a long term fantasy of having a bathroom where replacement loo rolls can actually live in the bathroom cabinet....!

'nother NSD today - I obviously forgot to update my sig yesterday so will go and do it in a moment. Been a very "odds and ends" day here today but I did get to two business estates this morning to leave my leaflets - one was just a "leave them at reception" - the other had pigeon holes so I was able to put them into any of those that seemed hopeful. Also got the bathroom cleaned and bathroom and bedroom net curtains washed earlier on so that's another couple of long-term procrastinated over jobs out the way. :)

I've just made up a batch of thai curry paste (a bit cobbled together as it's made from stuff I had in, but it smells lovely!) so will need to ensure that as well as using some of it tonight, the meal plan for next week incorporates something I can use it in too. MrEH will apparently be a little late home as he had a text from a friend of ours from Scotland earlier on, to say that said friend is in London today and did we want to meet him after work tonight. It was too short notice for me to be able to juggle my finances, sadly, had we not been going up to London for the Chinese New Year celebrations on Sunday I would definately have gone. STILL haven't made banana muffins - must get those done in a minute or the elderly banana will be beyond elderly!

    Money Money Money...

My clients are a little later than usual paying me this month which is a little  as it now means that regardless of weather I will HAVE to go into town on Tuesday morning to get their cheque - which I have been promised I will have on Monday - paid in. I think the moral of the story is always give my invoice to the partner who has had it until now - as he always throws me the cheque book and tells me just to write myself a cheque straight out and give it to him for signing.
    Anyhoo - regardless of that:
A small transfer from the joint account into my VSP this morning saw the balance on that increase by £3.20 this week.
No Council Tax or water rates this month - the money from those will be going to the mortgage eventually so I need to set it aside to make sure it doesn't get frittered.
Slightly increased payments to British Gas for both the gas and the electric will come into play this month - well they will so long as British Gas have actually set both up rather than, as has happened before, screwed things up completely. Even with these increases though we will still only be paying £44 per month for both.
I am considering an Approved Food order as there actually appears to be sufficient stuff there that we would use (rather than stuff that we would buy because it's cheap, and then eat for the sake of it) to make it worth the delivery cost. This includes bargainous Old El Paso fajita kits and flour tortillas (cheaper than I could begin to make them for!) and some Sharwoods thai curry sauces. I'll see what MrEH thinks later.

I have £6.00 in my purse
I have £1.44 (I think) credit on my mobile

Plans for tomorrow include the market, farm shop, and Tesco, but without spending more than I can avoid at any!

Hurrah to finding excellent uses for the council tax money for this month and next! Not forgetting the water rates too of course, wouldn't like those to feel left out! :D So - we have mine & MrEH's heading for our mortgage, LT sending hers to crack a whip at Norbert - what plans do the rest of you have for yours then?
