it was meant as a compliment as you are so organised...I just procrastinate all the time now....must get out of it and organised again.0

Getting a little ahead of myself here so I can avoid having a good excuse to spend time browsing on the 'puter first thing tomorrow, and losing time as a result!
Friday's list:
Washing from machine onto airer DONE!
Sort out next load of washing DONE!
Empty dishwasher DONE!
Start filling in form relating to departure from old job. DONE - so far as I can anyway - OH needs to help with the rest.
[STRIKE]Flea Treat cat [/STRIKE]This needs to be done when she's happy to spend time outside really, so we will put this off for a while
Send list of customers to Avon Area Sales Manager DONE!
Make seed/fat treats for birds. DONE!
Make mackerel pate (not for birds!) DONE!
Make muffins for OH's breakfasts. DONE!
Ring the clubcard people to sort out what happened to my clubcard deals order tonight as firstly it said there was an error and I shlould resubmit, and then when I did it told me that my vouchers had already been used! DONE! Should go through the system by the end of the day, if not I have to call them again
While on the phone sort out my details so that I can get into the "My clubcard" bit online. DONE! Nice helpful man - turned out they were missing a letter from my surname!
Ring the spice-mill people to see if I can get them to honour the "lifetime guarantee" on TWO pepper/spice mills that don't work. DONE! Excellent service from T&G Crushgrind as they are sending several new mechanisms in the post FOC under the terms of the guarantee!
Ring Sky to moan about the appalling quality of our telephone line - if I can hear them! Going to leave this one for now as the phone line seems fine today! Typical!
Shredding DONE!
Fill a black bag with rubbish. DONE!
Do test area of sealant round the bath with mould killing spray to see if it works without dissolving either the sealant or the bath!Done - it didn't dissolve anything, but didn't work either!
Long term meal list/plan utilising the stuff we have in, with as few new purchases as possible. Made a good start on this - will probably sit down with OH tonight and add to it, maybe have a browse through some recipe books too🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi EH - I feel I've made myself sound super organised when in fact....! What I meant by the 30 day meal plan is that it is basically a list of 30 meals we like to do. So each week I take a look and decide what to do and what to buy. And in the current snow, eeerrrr naff all!
So it's more like a template or ideas list rather than a list of what we'll eat. It's mainly to help my memory as so often I'll start my shopping with a completely blank mind of what do we like to eat. I do categorise it into 2 basic levels. 1 is easy meals - as no matter how much love cooking sometimes you dont have much time. the other level is for the more complicated time consuming thinks like a stew which often I'll only do at a weekend and it's enough for days on end.
Talking of organisation.... I write my shopping list for my loved one in the order of the layout of the store. You see, now you thinking I am going too far!
Keep up the good work EH.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Keep up the good work EH.
Yes, your meal list/plan idea is precisely what I'm planning, so good to know I'm on the right track. Circumstances vary too much for a fixed plan to work for me, so having a basic list to cook from is a good plan - it also means I can return to our old thing of having one night a week (used to be Fridays) when we cook a new recipe too - I can add a section to my list for things to try out.
Right, on the subject of lists - back to making progress on mine! Will edit the one above as I go along I think. Taxi - I sat writing it out last night, got the the end and thought *gulp*! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ladies, I seem to have the warm fuzzy feeling of achievement that goes along with completing a list on a Friday evening, knowing full well that means I can have the weekend as "me time"
Got paid by my client yesterday,so I must head to the building society tomorrow to pay that in. I also want to get some money transferred over into the holiday savings fund as there is some money sitting in my account at the moment that belongs there. Clients have also hinted that they may want me to do some extra days running up to christmas which would be handy.

Aww thank you - to me it always seems strange people saying that as it's so far from my personal image of myself IYSWIM!
Hope your weekend of work goes smoothly - nice to know you don;t have to do any more this side of xmas too!
Quick update:
We have had the initial estimate of costs through for the works that were done on the flats - on the face of it at least good news as the amount they are telling us is about 1k less than we were expecting - and theoretically at least our share should be less as being ground floor we have had slightly less work done than others. Once they give us a finalised figure we will be asking for an itemised breakdown in any case. Fingers crossed though - it would be a huge advantage to have it come in less - the money is saved to pay for it in any case thankfully - in our current circumstances I'm even more grateful that we decided to do that.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

that's great news EH. Well done for completing your friday list. I did as well but it only involved the double glazing man and baking copious amounts of cake so wasn't so taxing, though i don't know how people spend their day at work on their feet, i'm aching from my neck downwards.0

great news on getting paid, completing the list and the price of the works0
