I love Asda at night! / Evening reductions-what have been your best?

Just wanted to report my reduced bargains!
A whole freezer pack of 24 white rolls - 5p!!!!!
Pack of 4 teacakes - 5p
Pack of 4 tiger rolls - 5p
Pack of 4 very tasty blueberry muffins - 25p!!!
And a "crispwich" (yes, a packaged sandwich containing 2 slices of buttered bread and a small amount of crisps) for 10p! Reduced from only 60p though. I couldn't not buy it. Apparently in that range they also have fish finger ones, jam ones and corned beef ones!
All gone promptly in my freezer (apart from 1 muffin and the crispwich). Very exciting haha. Just hope they don't come out of the freezer for 5 minutes and become mouldy or something!
That aside, I live a stones throw away from a Co-op and can often be found in there buying reduced stuff. After 2pm they reduce the hot potato wedges to 25p (from £1), yummy! And later in the evening the bread/bakery stuff is always pretty cheap too (though I won't need to buy any of that for a while!).
So, what's your best yellow/orange/whatever sticker deal?

Asda are the best. It'd be ludicrous to list my bargains. All I can say is that pretty much any fresh product in the store can sometimes be found for between 10p and 25p in the reduced fridge after 8pm.
Asda are undoubtedly the cheapest supermarket, even if you were to ignore the reduced fridge!
They have the friendliest staff. Despite being part of a nasty multi-national corporation, I can always walk in there and chat to someone there like it was a local independent store.
Personally, I always shop after 8pm. I actually consider a loaf of bread expensive if it costs more than 10p!0 -
i hate shopping at asda before 8pm, far too busy, but after that its brilliant, empty and full of bargains, last bargain i can remember was a loaf of granary bread for 10p, loads of rolls at similar prices too, very good for stocking up the freezer
-ps ive heard of the crispwich too, they also sell jam sandwiches and fish finger sandwiches0 -
They do great big bags of the bakery items for 25p after 8 at mine. Bagels, danishes, croissants, the lot. Absolutely gorgeous and freeze a treat.
I know a lot of people hate MrT but ours is brilliant as well because the bakery items, and most other departments, go down to 1p per item after 8pm. We get spoilt with all the supermarkets in this area. My teenage sons are staggered if something doesn't have a reduced label on it. Its how we survive and manage to have treats to offer.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

probably when I got £20 worth of cod, salmon and tuna steak for about £1.50. We also got a full on indian meal (2 extra special mains, 2 types of rice, 4 bhaji's and 2 naans) for £1.25.
Cant complain.0 -
got 8 waffles for 2p, bit of nutella..... gorgeous!0

Asda usually has quite a few reduced bargains round here, but I think my *best* two bargains were actually from Tesco.
Monkfish fillet from £12.85 to £1.69
Beef joints down to 50p each (although this was because they were closing for a refit and needed to sell off everything!)
And very tasty they both were, too!No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. - Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)0 -

It is hit and miss, but there would almost definitely be something I'm sure!0 -
Butterflies it's just luck, really - why not pop along and see what you find?!
Best ever whoopsie here is probably packs of Tesco chopped swede and carrot - if I remember rightly, they were reduced to about 10p each, but were originally £1-something, and were on a BOGOF - we bought a couple to see if the full BOGOF value would come off, and it did. At the time we were absolutely skint, so we went back and picked up about another 10 packs, then went round the store and did some bits of normal shopping, which were pretty much entirely covered by the value being credited by the reduced stuff!Sadly I don't think this usually works with reduced items and the BOGOF's any more!
