Bought car and I don't like it!

Yes you would. A few exceptions, must be no face to face negotiation,.. if the car was made to your spec, for example. See page 7 in this link.

Ah well, close second. Surprising read right enough.0 -
Interesting on first scan the DSR look like they apply to these find me a car type places even when you are just pointed to a dealer.0

I think they could argue that having the car registered in your name may be classed as a personal specification. Interesting one though.0

The car would have lost thousands the minute you drove it from the forcourt. Do you really think the dealer should take the hit for that, get real.
Thats quite a naive answer.
The reason why it will have lost thousands is because that will be the difference between retail price and trade price. Technically the dealer could refund and sell the car on again at little or no loss - though i would doubt they would.
If i were the dealer in question, i'd offer some sort of deal on another car on the forecourt - presumably after maybe a 24 hr test drive.0 -

You are, if the vehicle is second hand it's likely the V5C is still sat in the dealership waiting to be sent off.
If the OP acts quickly the dealer may offer a deal or they could call the dealer, say they've made a mistake and offer the car back cheaper to the dealer.0 -
You seem to be missing two important points - depreciation and the vehicle is now used with one previous owner. Who's being naive
I think you need to reread the original post before jumping in with both feet - the O/P bought a USED car, not a NEW one -i'm embarrased for you.0 -

+1
The dealership would be foolish not to try to work a deal out here. They could end up making themselves more money AND have a happy customer.0
