It was a poor/cheap area... LHA probably increased the amount which could be demanded for this type of housing. Now there's a different world going on, it's slipping back to its actual value.

But overall, I think the trackie knocked off 20% on its own.

Check out the stolen speed restriction sign in the bedroom.

Nearly the whole road/corner is up for sale and heavily discounted. Flats on the corner are going for about £70k and they were more like £120k at the peak.

Poor areas always suffer worst in a market downturn.

On the positive side, you're only a couple of miles from the sea - I note the surfboard in the bedroom, which is presumably what the tenant does when not getting drunk and nicking speed restriction signs - and best of all, you are within walking distance of a place named Porcupine.

Which ought to add a few grand to the price on its own.

OK, I'm going to have to be the idiot in this thread and ask what is wrong with the guy in the doorway. So he's wearing a tracksuit. I wear tracksuit bottoms in bed to keep me warm and sometimes get up very late because I can work what hours I like but I pay my taxes and my rent on time and have never knowingly lowered the value of a house.

Or is there something I've missed? I've zoomed in but the pic isn't very sharp.
