Pigpen - I remember the days of trying to get out of the house with a clean, dry, fed, content baby... I am in completed awe that not only do you manage it as well as the rest of your brood, AND keeping us all in check, but you also find the time to get your nails and eyebrows done! Well done you!! I looked like complete carp until mine was about 5! You make me look like a complete novice :rotfl: xx

By 11am she had had 3 changes of clean clothes.. we then moved into a different brand of nappy :D

I had terrible PND/PTSD after the last 4 I am determined not to let that happen this time and if that means I force time for me (even though she does come too) then so be it.

Mornings are not too horrific.. DS2 or DS3 help the little 2 get their breakfast (usually cereal so nothing extravagant!!) while I feed the baby.. I then dress Tiddles or she would still be in the pj top and maybe 1 sock by lunchtime.. I comb their hair while OH changes the baby.. he then drives them to school at the moment as their legs are hurting.. and on Fridays I wander up to get my nails done.. and OH usually has me a cuppa waiting when I get back :D

This weekend is operation clean the bedrooms.. so everyone is doing their own. If I have to do mine they have to do theirs!!! The boys made a start yesterday so there is improvement there.. :D.. I do have 5 baskets of washing as a result though

  • Hi everyone, and sorry I missed your birthday, Toots!

I failed miserably to get any further cleaning done the other day, but I did get my research work ready and made the meeting on Friday, so today I'm going to flip round my bedroom and DD's pit... Using my own list:

    Clean own bedroom
Tidy and put everything away; clear the floor
Hoover the roof and curtains/curtain poles
Sticky mitt the surfaces incl computer, sidetables, headboards, screens, baskets etc
Hoover the lamp shades and light
Wipe the window sills; tidy the plant
Windolene the mirrors (including hand mirrors)
Wipe the cup rings off the mat
Wipe sticky marks off doors and frames and light switches
Hoover under the bed with nozzle
Hoover the skirting boards and edges with nozzle
Hoover the floor to get the soil up from DH's gardening!

    Clean DD's bedroom
Tidy and put everything away; clear the floor of discarded clothes and music
Hoover the roof and curtains/curtain poles
Sticky mitt the surfaces incl keyboard, sidetable, music stand etc
Hoover the lamp shades and light
Wipe the window sills; tidy the cactus
    Windolene the mirrors
Wipe sticky marks off doors and frames and light switches
Hoover under the bed with nozzle
Hoover the skirting boards and edges with nozzle
    Hoover the floor

Am feeling tired this morning, but really must get cracking. Anyone on for a one-hour blitz at 10:15?

(Gives me time to glug my tea ;))

    Morning all

    wm x 3 on

I have a special offer from e bay (the benefits of being an infrequent lister) discovered by accident the other night when, in a (financial) panic, I bunged my vintage apron (1950s dontcha know...) on for 99p + P&P...and listing was free...a bit of judicious scrolling revealed a listing offer of 100 items which will be free if listed for 99p or less before 14 November. Am now scouring house for carp LOL

Have two loads on the line which will be joined by a further load shortly. The LSB has decided we're going hiking PROPERLY which means equipment, snacks, and getting out of the house at a decent time...other things will have to wait:rotfl:
