    Yey it's the weekend

Flying all finished except for the demon jobs so it will be a demon busting weekend!

Boys don't have nearly as much on as usual this weekend so I'm looking forward to a lie in tomorrow (what is the betting I'm awake at silly o'clock).

I've had a massive pack of governor stuff to read and I've done some whilst at DS3's diving lesson but need to do some more over the weekend. Think I'll create a list of what needs doing.

Good grief what a couple of days

Yesterday tired out 6.45am start and 5.15pm finish

Today took an hour and a half to get home from work for a 30-40min journey

Feeling tired and slept last night for 10hrs! 9pm to 7am and prob the same tonight

Came home to rained on washing

Need to crack on tomorrow as didn't want to spend all weekend flying but looks like it will be. Well see how much I can get done tomorrow and then free up some time on Sunday. Plus have a ton of reading to do before Thurs and then some (lots) more

One toilet now working again, thats twice now in not to long and i can't find any blockage, yet it start's working again once i've put the pipe up, very strange.

Boys pj's now all sorted and clean clothes folded and put away. WM back on again as well as TD. DW been unloaded and reloaded. Livingroom floor been decluttered. :D

Rhys and DD in bed so i think i'll carry on in the kitchen, livingroom and bathroom.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Happy Birthday, toots!!! Glad you had a good day, even if it was quiet.
Also Happy Birthday to Mummyof5's DD1 (hope I've remembered that correctly). Enjoy your weekend of celebrations.

I've had an ok week, but not accomplished much in the house. Part busy, part tired and part CBA. :(

MIL's birthday today, so I went with DSs after work. Got lots of compliments for my Victoria Sandwich :j. DH went to the chippy for tea and I've opened a bottle of red. :D First one of the naked wine order I'm not so keen on, but it will do.

Plan for tonight is maybe another glass of red (won't have more than two) and reading a bit more of MG's thread. Don't think I'll stay up late. At least I should have more get-up-and-go tomorrow.
    Enjoy your Friday, everyone. xxx

good to hear that your walk and chat have solved the problem - a problem shared ........... xx

seafarers wife today is not the right day to be looking so far ahead and despairing about your wedding day - you are in shock and rightly so made worse by the fact that your folks are away too. First of all dont panic and dont give up the idea of that dream day wedding - its a long way to March and anything can change.
Obviously there is a lot more to it than we know but 1 or 2 things have crossed my mind -
why have things changed ? has the job been extended - has somebody left?
when he got the job / contract what are the rules about changes to the length of time away etc?
If he already had the time off booked why wont they honour it - and could he not get home to get married and then go back - he would only be away for what ? 3-4 weeks? surely they could cover that?
Does his boss out 'there' know he is getting married when he is meant to be here?
Your comment about fiance kicking up hell gave me food for thought - could he or you contact HR here and explain the situation to them - I would have thought presented with the expense it could cost you to cancel and the stress and upset it is causing they might be prepared to help - if not there is plan B - thats the hysterical fiance creating mayhem bit! or the newspapers - they wouldnt like the publicity of not being sympathetic to workers?
Your poor OH must be devastated too and would have been feeling so bad trying to tell you - its better to find out now and make plans that be faced with the same dilemma just before the wedding.
I know you are upset honey but channel that hurt and anger into ways to make it happen - you are a woman and we women can do amazing things when we put our minds to it. (I will go away now!)

    love and hugs
