  • have jiggled my last days of holiday so i could come home early as i couldnt concentrate today. came home to an email from oh, he wants a contingency plan in place in case we cant get married in march, now my parents are organising and paying for most of it so i dont know what they have paid, what they have still to paid and what we can jiggle about and i cant speak to them till next week as they are on holiday at the moment. i just want to say blast the lot of it and stuff the wedding cause i wont know till feb possibly even later if he is going to be back home in time so its make a decision now or fingers crossed and wait and see and hope for the best. we cant even get wedding insurance to cover this situation which is why it was planned so if his trip did run over then he would still be home in time.

to be honest the day is spoilt now for me whether he is home or not, and i know im sounding like a spoilt brat but ive compromised so much on this day already and if we cant get married then well i dont want to get married with anything we have bought and planned at a later date cause it feels like it will be tainted. so thats my dress and rest of outfit wasted, wedding rings wasted cause they are already engraved with the date of the wedding and god knows what else.

even if he handed in his notice he wouldnt be home in time so unless there is someone to relive him when his 4 month trip is up then we most likely wont be getting married.

so if you hear or see on the news next year about a madwoman getting arrested in the isle of wight for causing a disturbance in shell's head office cause her fiancee is not home in time for the wedding please send positive get out of jail quick vibes for me :p

on a flylady note this afternoon i have got a load of washing in, cleaned out the litter tray and decluttered alot of junk food and now going to declutter some booze.

    Happy 18th birthday mummyof5's DD!!

I've been trying to get things done today - slightly thwarted by taxiing the teens around, although I also decluttered four large bags to Oxfam with DS1 - clothes from DS2, and DD.

I have done the kitchen today, but haven't yet finished the rest of downstairs which I intended to do. I went into town instead this afternoon, as I needed to buy another ball of wool to finish a project - I only need to do another six rows on a neckband but I guess I can make something else with the rest of the ball.

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!

dusty - yes, I've been really busy - rather challenging week at school, students off the wall a bit. We have redundancies in process, and I think the uneasiness of the staff is being picked up by some of the students, and they've been kicking off. Only one week to half term! I'm looking forward to a break, even if I'm redecorating DD's bedroom all week! Congratulations on becoming a Governor!

hex - any idea of dates for a get together??

    Must go cook dinner....

    Love and hugs!

Boys wardrobe has now been decluttered of anything too small, one full bin bag out and i still need to sort through the stuff that has been washed.

I think that should be done now, then that will be all their clothes sorted and i can write a list of whats needed.

Happy Birthday to your DD mummyof5. :bdaycake:

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
