I just heard one of my colleagues was burgled last night, while she slept
so I texted her to see if I could help in any way...no reply...guess they got her phone, too.
They also took her car,I believe.

    ETA

Yes they did. Fortunately she has a courtesy car now...

yes she was. She has now had her locks changed, her nephew is staying with her tonight. I stayed over at hers after a fun night out in the Steel City. She has a lovely house.

has lead to a useful and productive discussion with DD about why I want the side gate and the back door kept locked;)

Thats what I thought :) He's also finished putting the handles on the utility room cupboards and stacked all the logs that were delivered today (I moved them all from the drive to the garden, he stacked). Apparently he'll be sorting out the outside lights while I'm at the gym tomorrow morning :D

Well done lav.. I just made my 137th tenner on quidco lol

That seems about right I'm on my 67th tenner and I've got half the amount of kids you have!

Valli - how frightening for your friend. Sends a shudder down me.

PenPen - Can't believe you are posting in your loved up state. Good on you girl!

Natty68 - you did very well with your HHC's (hangs head in shame). However I do have a sparkling kitchen and all ironing has been put away. I've mucked out under the living room sofa (found rechargable batteries) and did loads of paperwork.

DH rang in the middle of DS1's oral surgery appt to leave a message that he's not coming home tonight.:(

Sister rang today pleading for immediate help setting up her new business venture. I said I could help next Thursday but DS3 has come home with a letter about "Pumpkin Soup Cafe" on Thursday and there is a year 2 Mums coffee morning that will be much more fun:o. Sisters business is 40 minutes in the car and we are going away next Sunday and I desperately need so spend some time at home!

tomorrow I intend to take the kids to school then fly until 11 when I'm having a pedicure for the ball we are going to. Still can't decide what to wear for the ball. I couldn't afford to buy new so have to recycle and I can't remember who has seen me in what before! I'm not drinking tomorrow as it's the NCT's nearly new sale on Saturday and I need to be there at 8am to get the bargains. It will be hard enough as the ball ends at 2am and it will be 3am before we get home but at least I won't be hungover and we won't have to pay for a 45 minute cab ride.

Lady L, Diva, Toots and Lamewolf you are in my thoughts and prayers tonight x
