I agree with the above two posters...it will all take time.Am loving the challenges..they are all achievable.
  • Well 2 NSDs so a good start. Food wise Im not eating as much but still what I eat is high sugar/fat so doubt Ill see progress in weight but mantaining would be good for now.

About to be a grand auntie as neice in labour so will have her to help look after and a babe to cuddle!

Personnally I think I need to think about being sterilised as although babes are cute practically it would be all wrong. Apparently Microgynon (pill) can lead to depression so I have been worried that that has added to my blues over the years?

  • Hi. I used to take MIcrogynon and then got the 6 monthly jab before deciding to get sterilised. Am glad I did do it eventually though as it was nice not to worry ;)

Good luck to your neice xxxx

I got sterilised years ago as well one of the best things I did
  • Thanks good to hear as I was worried about potential side effects from sterilisation.

Poor niece still going so lent her OH tens for the back ache so hope that will help as she is exhausted.

Todays plan is to go to flat with kids and do some baking and meal prep. Want to do fairy cakes, bread pudding and prepare a potato bake for me (kids wont touch so not worth going there!). Hoping I can prep today then put in fridge for tomorrow. Will also do a feezer stock take as not sure what I have. Hoping only need to get potatos and a couple of other bits. Will grab CO-OP membership card as well as I saw them the other day.

Above is a rough guess at monthly expenses. Have not included catalogue at £700 because I will pay that with annual bonus due March. Will also get annual reward each dec which will cover xmas so hoping the £25 will more than cover birthdays.

If good I could be DF by mid 2013 and if really good in 2 years.

I havent included OH supposed £100 a month for car so that will help as well.

Will grab CO-OP membership card as well as I saw them the other day. They are good to have and every now and then you get a money off voucher. Not a great amount but better than nothing. Get a nectar card too if you haven't got one. You can use these in a lot of places, the website has a lot of info and also in sainsburys.

Sounds like you're going to have a lovely relaxing/day evening, aside from the dentist. Great plans for 2011. We'll get there KP

  • Well there is a reason I dont go to town unless I have to. Despite being very good the other day whilst waiting an age for the dentist and then for the perscription I was naughty

Good - bought YSL Touche le thingie earlier through MSE linkat 14.95 something I needed but had put off
Bad - £32 in bodyshop although all but much needed moisturiser (£10 ) on sale
Ugly - £3 on millies cookies for DD2 and I

I did make an eye appointment which I am at least a year overdue and struggling but dreading the inevitable £150 ish cost even with some claim back through work :(. I have been unable to read past 3 on occasion and get headaches so I know my perscription needs updating.

Plan for tomorrow stick to staying indoors its cheaper!!!

Baking underway - ckaes being munched now. Next dinner followed by bread pudding making mmmm
