  • Hey KP. One thing at a time. Your relationship with OH is going well, thata a good thing. When you're ready you can work out the financial side. And because things are better on the emotional front, who knows, the next part of your journey may be less rocky :)

  • Thank you all your kind words and advice. :A. I am hoping for a more settled year or so it seems so much has happened in 2011 and tbh over most recent years. I suppose thats just life!

    Still waiting on hearing about a second interview but other than all quiet on the job front due to time of year. Enjoying the time off though and christmas nearly done. Saw DS in his play today and as usual , even if I do say so myself :p, he was brilliant. Sis has been moved closer to home only half hour away so will see her more often although she is in the local hospital at the moment with a chest infection :(. Mums ok going away to see borther over xmas and new year.

  • KP I must have missed the chat re your sister but I can only assume she doesnt keep well. That's good she is closer to you. So glad you and your OH are getting on well.

    The work situation will sort itself out :)
    5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
    By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

    Yes MIT she has severe brain damage due to epilepsy so is in a care home.

    Not enjoying the cold weather I dont think being a southerner that I would survive a day up near you MIT! Going to get my b** in gear though and walk to local retail part to get OH second half of his birthday and xmas pressies.

  • Sorry no news on work...they are making some admin staff redundant in my place and have been stringing people along for weeks..puts huge pressure on people and just not fair...really hope you find out soon either way. Are you looking forward to Christmas?

  • Have second interview next tuesday!! and possibility of a temp job but that would mean travel and the need for a second car so not too sure on that.

    Yes I am actually looking forward to xmas. been buying lots of smaller presents for kids this year amd without working im not as stressed although as before not really focussing on money so will have that to deal with soon. TBH whatever the figures I know I can deal with them esp with your help xx

    Just a quickie to say we had a lovely xmas, crashed and wrote off car but got new one without too much of a loss and no one injured, done some baking mmmm, done filing, sorted utlities from old house oh and got a job :Dstaring in the new year :j:j:j.

    Now I know where I am and what income we will have I can now look to do an up to date budget :money:.
