  • Well dont want to moan but I am a bit stressed at the moment with work so not concentrating on eating right or moneysaving really. Weighed myself this morning and looks like another few pounds have crept on :(. Mum seems ok but I dont really want to get involved again. Ex seems ok and kids good. Had them round for dinner tonight so nice to see them although no DD2. DD1 wants to go to Alton towers for her birthday but me being me and not checking stuff means it will cost £100. Told her its that or the sofa bed she wants. Spent £40 on a fancy dress outfit for work  no choice really. Chose Princess Fiona the only one I could think for the larger figure :).

I guess what Im saying is I am plodding along but not feeling as happy as I would like.

Bet you wished you hadnt asked now!

I knew there was something! You're a very naughty girl for keeping it in!!!
KP please don't see it as moaning. You're getting it out of your system and that must be healthier than bottling it up.

Are there any challenges you want to try on MSE that we can do together, or is there anything I can support you with?

  • Thank you so much

Im going to try to work from home the next couple of days and catch up on the back log. Im hoping most of the current feelings are PMS related do will ease soon back to normal stress levels!

I will have a look at the o/s thread

Ref challenges Im wary of these because I just cant seem to stick to anything for more than 2 days. I guess I could try the McDonalds once a week to start :D

  • oh my goodness just seen this! Poor you...youve had a tough time of it and Im sure the decisions werent easy to make. Plus is that you can knuckle down and get shot of the debt...please pm if I can do anything to help - even if its just a natter on the phone! Meanwhile we'll just put one foot in front of the other and plod! Would it be worth reviewing meds to see whether they can be tweaked a bit? Just a thought...

  • Thanks ISOM :A and everyone your support is invaluable.

Thought I had better update. Not much changed but thankfully not major mood swings since :) so plan is to double up meds the week before... as previous doctor suggested. Got to see the Doc in the next two weeks anyways. Not sure which as last one has retired.

Work still busy but I have been told I have met expectations this year so thats good :j. Have three days off first was yesterday. Went to the pictures with Ex/Oh ?! to see Burke and Hare which was very funny.

Today I have a bit of work to complete, then dentist  at least that should be capped at £45 ish. Need to work with OH on DD1s final BDay pressie (She is 13 on Sunday - time flies) and then start christmas shopping.

Reveiwed Tesco clubcard and I have £220 vouchers unspent so may use some of those or think of which 4x deal I want. Maybe Merlin passes ?

Tomorrow I have the flat warming so need to flat tidy and clean, shop for food oh and take mate to her esa tribunal in the afternoon.

OH has bought a car as the cavalier is on its last legs and not great for winter. I need to think of the kids so worth it. I have financed via a loan which has also cleared the OD and Tesco CC so cheaper on that front. He will pay £100 a month which should help me clear the other CCs and save to clear the loans ?(new loan £200 amonth and he has spent a third of it). I have been fairly good on spending but as always could be better :D. I did whimp out and order phone, bb and sky. Itll be £50 a month so not too bad. Annoyingly the flat didnt qualify for Quidco  so lost £100 there but will get £50 M&S vouchers.

Only sad news is I had to sign over the house and I wont be able to be added back on if I ever want to move back :(. I was a tad upset but I guess its not the end of the world. I felt as OH now has all the power so if things go bad he could make my life hell. Still glad I moved though.

Anyways that way more update than I planned so signing off for now
