KP - Fantastically Fervent MoneySaving Super Fan? Must try harder

Well

I have truly messed up in the last year some needed due to a change in circumstances but the rest just me going back to bad habits. I have been doing an ostrich act for the lact few months in calculating my true debt figure. The truth is:

Tesco CC 2600 16.9%
Citi CC £1262 apr? but loa and LOB
Natwest CC £1053 17% ish after end of deal
Natwest Loan £8500 6.9% 3 years left
Natwest OD £1155 16.9% - as off today
Catalogue £650 nil apr until April next year for 400 and sept for the rest.

Total a very horrible £15220 not far from my £17900 starting point three years ago .

Plan is to live very scarcly until pay day so hoping to keep OD the same or better and make CC payments for all three cards. Monthly budget to follow.

  • Hoping to keep the food/entertainment budget down as it doesnt take much to feed one but kids at weekends etc as I have found eat an awful lot!!

Car costs and phone generally covered by work

Have shares as back up but low value so leaving and hoping they recover first

Trying to avaoid getting phone/BB and Sky as thet will be another 50 ish a month so have freeview/ limited work internet and mobile.

Right thats all I can think of right now just so annoyed and embarresed I let it get back so high.

For anyone who doesnt know me - I have three beutiful kids but recently split with their Dad who is the main carer as I work so best for me to leave :(

  • Well diet going ok a few more calories than Id like yesterday after a friend came round and I had a bit of naan bread and a few mini choc bites - still shouldnt be too bad though. Spent £2.72 at the shop and didnt row but have this morning. Trying to forget about the remaining mini bites...

Weight this morning 12st 5lb but aim is to be able to fit my current clothes properly rather than stretch them :embarrased:

Going out Thursday and Friday, thursday will be free but friday not each time need to watch the calories.

Working from home but not quite got started yet.

Good/Bad news is I have to interview for the perm promo again in the 26th. Annoyed that I wasnt good enough to get it automoatically but at least its a 50/50 chance and will mean an excellent pay increase that will help enormously so really need to prep well.
