  • I see that some of the products have BBE July 2010, I assume that this is ok to eat still otherwise they would not be allowed to sell it. How long would you have though before the products do become unable to eat?? Any advice warmly accepted.

  • Best before dates are not the same as use by dates, there is an article on BBFL home page telling you about dates and what they mean. they are also running a guess how many jelly beans in the jar competition at the moment with three prizes

    1st prize £70.00 lucky box

    2nd prize £45.00 lucky box

    3rd prize £25.00 lucky box

    starts 3/11/10 to 30/11/10

they have a new forum where you can ask questions and take part in the competitions. I love BBFL:j

Hi, I've never ordered from these before and am not sure whether I order as normal and they double it or do I add two of everything I want and they deduct 50% of the cost?
Also what happens about the delivery charge?
            Thanks
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

this is martins take o approved food which same type of shop hth
What does it sell? Approved Food sells clearance, short dated and out of date stock at a fraction of the price.

Can you eat food after best before dates? While eating beyond ‘use by’ is a health risk – ‘best before’ is just the manufacturer's guidance of optimum quality, it can be fine to eat for a long time after that, just use your eyes and nose to check it's good (see the MSE full guide to Cheap Supermarket Shopping).
