    Just received my order.

All but 4 of the choc dips are split open, and about half the tins (beans and lentil soups) are bashed in and dented.

Not sure I'll order again, it all looks quite manky. I'll test the beans tonight though, we'll see.

How exactly would a dented tin affect the food inside? Can anyone let me know please?

A dented tin is fine as long as its not pierced.

Just got mine and all very happy! So much food it will last me for a very long time!

They came in about 7 boxes of various shapes and was very excited opening each one.

Each one was tapped up really well, however there was nothing protecting any of the goods much, although don't think this caused any issues.

Some of the beans have got dents in them, however I have been eating dented tins when i was younger and never had any issues.

Massive bags of pizza base and scone base look good - says I can make 61 pizza bases and 102 scones/doughnuts.

However there is one thing that is a little worrying, even though I am not to bothered and it is that the Scone and Doughnut mix has one of there stickers stating the BBE date as July 2010, however I peeled off the label and it says April 2010.

The Sharwoods Thai curry paste looks good to - looking forward to cooking with this.

The Be-ro plain flour is also in good condition

I am very happy overall :D

    Yes I noticed that.

So far tonight I have made some risotto - see here on how to cook it - http://www.approvedfood.co.uk/forum/general-discussion/loyd-grossman-risotto-rice/

I am now making some scones - have made 9 and only used a very small amount of the bag - and I have two bags! :rotfl:

Added some jam into the mix, so was sticky to roll out but they should be ready in 10 mins. :j

Tried some of the beans to and they taste good - think they are quite a cheap variety though.
