No, I am sorry no, I did a HDD test and the original drive came back as afaulty, so have now had to buy a new one which I need Vista on, however I cannot write the diskLive for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

So your issue now is with you attempting to burn a full Vista Image?
Perhaps you can tell something about the provenance of the image that you are trying to burn.0 -

It appears that we have moved on from that.
It's just a matter of the OP trying to create a bootable disc from an image in order to install Vista on a new HDD.0
