Perhaps you can post the Imgburn log.

You really have to give lots more information (and a better subject would have helped!) otherwise you can only get general answers. Suppose you went to a garage and told them, "My car doesn't work properly" - do you think they'd immediately be able to fix the problem?

What is the make and model of the CD/DVD drive in your PC? What make and type of CDs or DVDs are you attempting to burn? CD-R, CD+R, CD+RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, and so on?

And as Donnie says, information about what sort of errors you're getting is essential.

The errors I am getting and in the log above.

I have tried using Magic ISO, it doesn't work, it simply burns yet nothing seems to be on the disk. I have checked to ensure it isn't in test mode and it wasn't. I then tried ImgBurn and had the problems as above. I then tried Active ISO and it also didn't work. I have a Phillips DVD-RW (Unsure of exact model as it is built into the system when I bought it)

When I attempt to boot from the drive it comes up as "Phillips DVDR1628P1" So I am pretty sure that is the model number, anyway I updated from Q1.1 to Q2.4 from the link you gave me. Will that mean I can write to DVD+R now?

OK, I did have 1 sucessful (or so I thought) burn of the vista recovery image using ImgBurn, however this is the error when it gets past the product key stage at the beginning

"Windows cannot open the required file E:\Sources\install.wim. The file does not exist. Make sure all files requried for installation are available and restart. Error Code: 0x80070002"

    Upgrade the Firmware

If you are nervous about doing it manually, you can use the Philips Intelligent Agent
