  • Thanks for posting this or I'd not have known. Just waiting for others to confirm they're coming so I can book. Got loads available at the one I want for a weekend we've got planned in November. Delighted.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

ah missed out again, too late for me to get a sat mirror but very good post, hope you all enjoy. i did get a couple of the 25 p rooms in travel lodge so cant complain

Can you not get the paper tomorrow??? I thought it was collect tokens over a few days?
  • I think Kendal was a Premier Inn, check out reviews of Premier Inn Kendal ( Killington Lake)

I'm going to seem thick, but how do you know it's a premier inn?? Thinking of booking this one myself if its a premier inn.
  • The coupons in the Mirror are available til Wednesday so plenty time to collect. The paper is probably cheaper during the week anyway.

  • Booked it using my Visa Debit card. Got the confirmation email instantly but written at the bottom is about paying with a credit card. Totally confused now if it has been reserved by using my debit card. Anyone else shed some light please. Thanks in advance.

  • Not 100% sure that Kendal was a Premier Inn but this list gives the new additions to the Days Inn locations in the UK http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn/control/newhotels?variant=uk

I got the same message then tried again and it said rate plan is not available. I rang days inn and she said there are only approx 3 rooms in each hotel per night and all of them had gone in the hotel I wanted on the day I wanted. Hope this helps

Don't think this is anything to worry about - lots of sites use the phrase 'credit card' to cover credit and debit cards.

We've done the same as you - paid with debit card - for 3 separate bookings - and each has been confirmed, though all have that odd 'credit card' phrasing.

All we have to do now is remember to buy several copies of the Mirror in the next few days...

All the new Days Inns were Premier Inns.
