Are these all on motorway service stations or are there any in towns/cities.Please. Recommendations needed something to see, would like to go by train. Any help accepted gratefully.

Yeah, had a feeling that was so, thanks for clarifying

There are no weekends for the Manchester one.
EDIT:Apart from one Fri in Feb or one Sat in Jan.

ah missed out again, too late for me to get a sat mirror but very good post, hope you all enjoy. i did get a couple of the 25 p rooms in travel lodge so cant complain

It is for selected hotels in the drop down list in the OP link, the nearest one to London is the NW7 one off the M1 and there are dates until next Sept currently available, but it looks like you would need a car as the nearest tube station is 3 miles away (Edgware) still handy for those prepared to drive and park up at the tube station or get a taxi.

I rang because I had not got my confirmation but they told me all was ok, just system was playing up because they had had so may people booking.

Fingers crossed all will be ok

We take our dogs but you have to do a search for pets allowed. These are not usually where you want to go! I hoped to use this to stay in Maidstone before traving to France, but Maidstone do not take dogs and the nearest is too far away. So it looks like we will just stay another night in France where nearly all hotels take dogs.

On the whole more and more British hotels are taking dogs, just not at £10 per night!!
