    I've sent you a personal message, PK194.
    HTH.
  • Yes that has been my experience. They put right the rebate up to the point I complained, but haven't had the credit for the last 2 months. Will be leaving them when the contract expires in a month or so, wasn't aware they could charge for the phone!
  • Just keep copying in the local Trading Standards Office, every time you email BusinessMobiles, so they're aware too.

Thanks for that, I had omitted to mention that to them in my first email. Emailed again yesterday saying I would be writing to Trading Standards in next few days & surprise surprise I got an email today saying it had all been sorted. Sound advice, thanks again!:j

I have had exactly the same problem with this company for over a year and am about to take this forward as appropriate, there are other authorities than the OFT, this is obviously how their 'business model' operates.

Edit : I have just seen the posting rules here so have edited out the company financial and director details, although this is all in the public domain, i'm sure this information will be of interest elsewhere
  • I was offered a fantastic deal by this company but they rushed me to sign a contract and never bought out my old one so I now have a huge bill and am fighting with Orange who insist that I now have a contract with them via businesmobiles because of implied or verbal agreement and although they agreed an amount for us to pay we ended up paying a lot more
    BEWARE
  • My company tried them out and they have been terrible. You can walk into a CPW and get a better deal.

They charge you extras for basic handsets. Yet you can walk into a CPW and get a better deal.

Here's the big gotcha: they insist on the handsets returned at the end of the contract in full working order and in pristine condition, otherwise they charge you for the full cost of the handset!!

Again any standard contract will let you keep the handset.

    Keep well clear.
  • I have had a contract with them since January 2012. Until now I have had only 2 out of 5 credits I have been given 3 different reasons and sense that this is from 'handbook of excuses'. I have been promised (10 days ago) a double payment by tomorrow. As yet it has not arrived. Thank you fo rearlier posts - Trading Standards will be use from now on. This is highly frustrating.
  • Business Mobiles ... SHOCKING SERVICE. Not a good word to say about them at all.
To anyone reading this and considering joining, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SIGN UP WITH BUSINESS MOBILES. You have been warned.
I joined two years ago and my contract ends next October 2013. It has been hell trying to collect the £44.66 pm which they said would be paid regularly. I have phoned every month since joining and sometimes more than one occasion. Even today, 22/10/2012, I am having to call and chase up 2 months payment. I have been lied to and put on hold and transferred. More excuses given than a born liar.
I do not understand how the regulators can allow them to continue. I asked for the Director's name and was given Charmaine Desouza, 4th Floor, West World, West Gate, London, W5 1DT. I am yet to find out if that's correct.
I never write to forums, but on this occasion I wanted to warn as many people as possible. They will not pay up until you chase them and they will delay as much as possible.
How are they still in business????
  • They credited my first three months of my contract, I thought I would check my statements regarding the credits and surprise surprise, they have`nt paid the last 15 months!!!!! Seriously, they must rely on people not checking there accounts(like me!!!!) and hoping they get away with it. I`m 18 months into a 36 month contract with this company, another 18 months of chasing my credit payments....great!!
I spoke to a lady, eventually, and her words were `we must have accidentally dropped you out of the system`.....incredible!! She has promised to chase this up and pay the amount outstanding within a week....surely they need to be reported to Rogue Traders....that`s my next move....
Stay well away from this Company..!!!
