Anyone know anything about this company?
For the last few months I have been getting faxes from this company, todays one is offering to buy me out of my current contract (22 months left at £30pm) then 2 years free calls and texts with the only cost being £23.50pm for year 3, I can even add an extra mobile for £4.50 (assume that's per month?) seems too good to be true, I assume this is a sim only deal, but even so, I will still be quids in.
I am sure it must be scam of some sorts, I have tried googling them but can't seem to find out anything worthwhile.

The deal almost seems a no-brainer as for the next 22 months I will pay £660, or switch and for 36 months I will only pay £282 (or about £330 is their figure does not include vat)
I can only assume that when they "buy me out" of my contract this will be by some form of redemption for which I will have to fight for.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Looked up their website. When I ran an IT department and we had over 100 handsets, we did a deal with a commercial supplier such as businessmobiles.com which gave us free rental. So such a deal could exist.
They did not offer to buy out my contract, though and it was only the volume of business that got us our discount and shared minutes.
The commission they are receiving must be huge, though, to enable them to offer that deal and, frankly, I would be very cautious.
But if they do and they stick to their word and pay off your existing contract, then please keep us updated as it seems to be absolutely stonking and better than any other deal on offer.
Read the small print, though. And out of curiosity, how many mobile to other network minutes are they offering???0 -
I took out 2 contracts with Businessmobiles.com.
One was linked to the Orange network, and included a £15 per month Automatic Line Rental Credits (ALRC) from Business Mobiles.
The other contract is linked to T-Mobile, and included a £5 per month ALRC.
I haven't received the last 4 months ALRCs for the Orange account; and I haven't recieved any ALRCs for the T-Mobile account. I've contacted their customer services, to try and resolve the problem, and get no response, so am about to revert to the Small Claims Court.
I'm disappointed by their After Care and Customer Service, and so I won't be renewing any telecom contracts with these people; nor would I recommend the company to anyone. I'm equally concerned about the viability of their business model; if they've struggled to pay the Automatic Line Rental Credits that were due to me, I wonder who else has had problems.
[Postscript: I have just received an email from the company, confirming that my belated ALRCs will be paid within the next 7-10 days.
I thought about withdrawing this post, but decided that the non-recommendation, and the comments re. customer service, both remain valid].0 -
Our experience with Businessmobiles.com has been far from satisfactory.
We took out a 24 month contract with these guys and it is just coming to an end. Out of those 24 months I have had to chase them 14 times for ALRC payments.
Apparently their automatic payment system is broken and has been for over a year. Why haven't they fixed it? Your guess is as good as mine.
We haven't had a single email warning us of the problem and any emails we have sent are ignored - even when we email their customer services manager [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM].
To be fair every time we chase these payments, the junior Customer Service staff are very apologetic and seem very embarressed by the whole situation, but having spoken to management at the company - they haven't so much as offered an apology.
In April with two months left to go on the contract I contacted the customer services manager and asked, just as a gesture of good will, if they would pay the last two payments, simply to save me chasing again - they refused and promised the last two payments would be paid on time. I had to chase both of them.
All in all, I would recommend staying away from this company - the offers are reasonable value, but the headache of having to constantly chase them for payments and terrible unresponsive customer service just isn't worth the trouble.0 -

I have the same problem, I haven't beeen receiving the credits for a year now. (Due to divorce I was somewhat late picking it up!) I have rung & left messages & also emailed, but no one has got back to me yet. Could you possibly let me have the email address of who sorted it out for you please?0 -
Hi, same problem for me, 12 months credits outstanding! Emails & phone messages ignored. If there is anyone you have found who has actually resolved your problem I'd be grateful for either their name & number or their email address!0

That's great news.
LOL re. the declined upgrade. Funnily enough, I did the same.0 -
Wish I'd read this lot before I signed with them - dreadful customer service. They haven't paid my ALRC since March and just won't naswer any communications. I am now with the OFT for advice.0
