Hi.
Did you get sorted?
If not I might be able to help. Both hubby and I are using t-mobile sims in our SF phones. He had to change something called APN settings in the phone.
Here are his instructions for how to change the setting....
Press Menu then go to settings then wireless and networks. Press mobile networks then make sure data connection is ticked then press access point names and choose new APN. You might need to press menu again to get the add new APN option.
Then you get lots of options....
in name change it to t-mobile uk (space between words mobile and uk)
in APN change this to general.t-mobile.uk (no spaces)
then press menu button and press save and that should be done. You might need to reboot phone but now you should be able to use internet.
Hope that helps.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

If anyone is interested. There is a site that has free unlock for this phone
I can't posts links yet but googling "san francisco free unlock" found me the link via the android.modaco forum (it was the third link for me)
I've used it and it works fine. People on the android.modaco forum have been using it for a while

How's everybody finding their SF? I've been considering buying one for a bit and I think I might bite the bullet, buy one, unlock and debrand to use on O2 as my current phone is driving me nuts!0

Fine. I gave mine to my Mum, so must be simple and it seems to be working well.
Absolute bargain esp on a 600m, 500t, 3gb internet and booster from T-Mobile.0 -

He loves it because he can see when his Xbox friends are online and stuff and despite his high usage of it it still survives!
As an added bonus (or not) he can see where I am and I can see where he is. So many functions to play with on these phones and I would heartily recommend it.0 -

Both hubby and I have a SF each and have no complaints or problems with them.
For the money it is a fantastic phone.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

The iPhone is more of a fashion accessory than any other phone, they keep supply relatively low to keep a demand there and the prices are pretty much fixed.0
