Are you sure, you didn't appear to.
Class magazine you recommend in your job then
    Don't miss this article.

"Hannah Betts is on a mission to banish under-eye circles. "

Ha ha. Don't you have insurers to slag off needlessly elsewhere?

(I doubt many of you would cope with my work-based reading material. The mag I recommended doesn't use long words so you lot should be okay ;))

Given you made it 2 mins after my reply, yes!

No, not Edinburgh or Aberdeen. Not sure what that has to do with anything.

This thread seems to have gone off topic a little bit. Although for the record, if this lad is old enough to own and drive a car I would hope he is capable of sorting out the insurance.

OP - The implications of your son not informing them of the change are huge. I made this mistake.
My advice is to follow their rules regarding changes of address even if that means phoning up everytime he is home for more than a week or so. Insurance companies hold the power. Sadly.
If he has an accident at Uni the insurance company are more than entitled to view the policy as void if you have not told them that is where the car is kept etc...

Also, I wouldn't have thought his insurance company would speak to you about the policy. Unless of course, it is not his policy and he is just a named driver?

I must have been very advanced then - I was self sufficient financially at 15 and moved out at 17. I bought my first house at 19 and have never needed help to sort out tax or insurance or anything else. I wonder whether initiative is genetic or learned..............

Look just because you have managed that doesn't mean anything these days. You can't just apply what you've done in your situation to every young person should do now.

It was a lot cheaper and easier than now to get on the property ladder and insure your first car back in your days.

As you have absolutely no idea how old I am, how on earth can you say that??

I was sterilised by choice in my early 20s.

    Thank heaven for small mercies!

Never mind people having high bills for cotton wool, your chip bill for the 5lb bag of McCains on your shoulder must be astronomical!;)
