my after dinner talks are anything but a U rating:rotfl:. They can get, Ahem!!! slightly more adult in humour and content (especially when you do those riotous sportmans dinners)

I'm just getting used to not wanting 'things' and then I go and see this metalwork bed... Look at the bird's nest!

How do you ask the Universe for things you really, really want?

How about saying to the Universe I will own this bed within 12 months?

  • Oh I get you :rotfl:

In reality is doesn't really matter - only my after dinner talks are anything but a U rating:rotfl:. They can get, Ahem!!! slightly more adult in humour and content (especially when you do those riotous sportmans dinners)

We are all working from the same point learning how to learn and being introduced to new techniques so what the kids lack in life experience they make up for in the fact they are still "conditioned to learn" because they are at school IYSWM.

The adults, with more life experience, but not being continually in a learning environment - come at it a different way,but roughly at the same time.

I have set up the world tour so that should a school or a block of children express an interest I can use the alternate weekends to bring a session to them directly. Make it VERY tailored to current curriculm.

But at the moment - because we are doing this special price for the Matrix guys it is a mixed age seminar (10 plus so no real wee ones) unless something truly massive happens................ in which case you guys will be the first to know.

Bit of a long-winded answer, but I hope i helps.

That is sooooo funny, all those successful guys freaked out by a crowd of girlies (& Mike) :rotfl: I love it :T

It is a wonderful post MG & I have been thinking about it all day. It was a scary moment for you when you had to hit the button not knowing if people would be interested or not. So pleased they are :j

As a Credit Manager I was worried to see that there was no mention of when or how to pay so I am pleased that has already been noted. I think it would be fab if they paid 100% up front, it gets their full commitment and you don't have to worry about it on the day - You really don't need the distraction or the hassle of someone saying they haven't brought payment or worse still bounced cheques after the event. All big training company's insist on payment up front.

Also think the idea of some form of auto acknowledgment at the time of booking is a great idea.

Claire - I LOVE the set you did this morning and the bracelet you sold this afternoon is fabulous. Can we have similar in other colours please :)

    Happy Birthday Souk

MG - Hope you have a great day tomorrow with Dr Who :D

What sort of colours were you thinking?

I used to do dooyoo reviews - if you want to review something and it isn't there, I think you have to contact the dooyoo people, tell them you want to review it. Hope this helps.

MG - you're off to Doctor Who today! Hope you and the littlies have a fantastic time.

I love that idea of making celebration earrings - maybe for the Olympics? Google often marks anniversaries with a special logo on its homepage.

    Haggis for Burns' Night?

Great thinking whoever came up with that approach. Direct marketing at its best.

Claire i noticed on FB a group called Mary-Beth Originals and she was selling some scrummy beads that have a great kitsch appeal. Ones shaped like sweets, or bisuits. Could be worth you having a nosey to see if they are something that appeals to you. I thought they would be quite cute as jewellery, and i was thinking in terms of myself some of them might look good as unusual buttons on my knitting.

Memorygirl I shared the link to your webpage on FB. I will try and do a bit more pointed prompt to it so that my teacher friends will notice it. Could you tailor it say for example if you were hired to do 25 kids from one school and do it for kids with learning problems, or those who were on the gifted and talented list maybe? I know my old school did a big push on mindmapping about 6 years ago, but the lady who had the training and led it in school since retired. I will mention it to my friend who is an asst headteacher when i see her. Might not be for a little while though as her daughter is due an op next week.

    Will have a look thankyou
