Hello!:j
Decided to look again at what challenges I decided to do and update - shown below:
1. Christmas sorted and planned for Oct 2010 - planning all done, and got a detailed list sorted out - just need to buy/order stuff now - hoping to complete by Dec 10th.
2. Make own xmas cards and do some orders for the - doing 20 for someone, and about to start on my own
3. Try and get some extra avon orders, - will send out books to a few people but decided against doing territory due to not knowing area
4. flat declutered and a bit better organised, - bathroom and mould sorted out at weekend, and clothes sorted for winter - taking old stuff to PDSA this week and recycling bin
5. Meals - i - aim for 3 new meals by xmas, thinking of trying out some risotto, curry and byrani recipies to see what i like and what freezes well. - looked thru cookery books and got a few recipies Id like to try out, will need to work out what I need to buy in first!
Not too bad for 15 days into challenge, hope everyone else is doing ok - just need to hope for a productive day off work tomorrow.:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0 -
Bitsy wondered if you had considered www. folksy .com (UK equivalent of etsy ... and sorry as a new user can't post the actual link) as another option. I haven't sold through there (but have bought!) ... getting your stuff seen in as many places as possible may help get in a few more orders0

The parents are Next fans (queueing @ 6am for sales etc) so it might be that not next or a "well-known" name might not be appreciated
But I want soemthing different
Away to show DH site now & see what he thinks
scottishlass - I'll pass on any ideas I get
This may have been sorted but I know someone who makes gorgeous little girls clothes (we are originally Fifers too and she is currently based not a million miles away). As I'm new can't post links but if you are still looking I could PM you details.0 -

I LOVE Folksy....just feel a wee bit intimadated at some of the truly gorgeous stuff that is sold on there. Some of those sellers are very talented.
Boddy - been thinking of you all morning. Hope you're holding up as well as can be expected xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Let's hope that they've actually a) got it right and b) physically made the amendments on the system!!
They've tried 4 times to alter mine. All they have to do is add £225 on to my (standard) personal allowance for professional subs..!! The latest effort was 725l
Typical case of GIGO I think (garbage in, garbage out!)
My Payroll dept keep ringing me to beg me to get it sorted with them.
Bless them!0 -

YOU are also very talented Bitsy.... I can't see the difference between your items and their items!!
The only thing I don't like about that Folksy website is the pages and pages you have to trawl through to see everything. I bet stuff gets lost in amongst it all.
