Matymoo. Thanks. My mum died tonight at 6.30 not long after I left. We got back there ten minutes after. Just got back from my daughters. Ive come on the computer as I cant go to bed yet.

So sad for you, it is a difficult time for you and your family, so much to do but the brain is mush.

If there is anything I can do to help, or if you need someone to talk to send me a PM.

Sending you hugs (& if you are like me, lots of tissues)

  • CraftyScholar, re the Ralph Marston Daily Motivator site - no I haven't subscribed, I just read each daily page as it appears which is free of charge. And of course it is possible to scroll back (as I described) to read previous entries.

ETA - I use Mozilla Firefox and have all my favourite websites in tabs which automatically open every time I start up the web browser. That way I never lose what's going on. Realising I could do this has made such a difference.

    Double thank you GQ.

A nice row of tabs when I logged in this morning and this is part of this morning's Daily Motivator.
So what are you waiting for? Get motivated, get focused, get serious, get up, get going, get out there and make life as magnificent as you know it can be.

  • Dear Boddy, sending you much love for the sorrows of bereavement you and your family are undergoing. I hope you have many happy memories to temper the bitter feelings of loss, and that you and your family gain much comfort from each other at this hard time.

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

  • My Deepest sympathies to you and your family Boddy, thoughts and prayers are with you
  • Thanks Craftyscholar,

Yes, today's Daily Motivator https://www.greatday.com is a good 'un and will help me tackle the next 2 boxes of 'stuff' which got squirrelled away, unsorted during my illness! ('Out of sight, out of mind' was the survival tactic and I sweetened the pill by using very pretty cardboard IKEA boxes, but it's time to rehome them).

I hope to report a really good (for me) tada list later on today

Oh Boddy, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news about your mum. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night; I'm glad you could come on here tho, to get a tiny, tiny bit of relief.

My sympathies, to you and your family.
