Oh Claire I do hope it's not too serious (((()))))

    Kits for Kids
    Any size, including adults
Premier League is VERY well known here, but they wear anything :rotfl:
20 foot container is generous for 10,000 shirts and there will be no weight problem so other kit including boots and balls also welcome. :D

Who suggested letters? That is so sweet :)

MG, your tour MUST include Johannesburg :rotfl: Am going to use your first 2 posts and your book to pitch you (is that the right phrase?) at the meeting on the 18th.

Still waiting for a response to my request for storage space. Where I have asked would be ideal as their opening times are long and 7 days a week and en route to a port.

As for putting a smile on the children's faces for Christmas, I woke in the night with a sudden cold realisation :( I had said collect by Christmas, but going by sea will take weeks, and SA customs are notoriously slow with non-business freight. They'll know that the shirts are on the way at Christmas, but they won't have them by then. Sorry.

Thanks for everything that is being done, by so many of you :A
And especially MG who is hosting this matrix :)

Hes very upset as you can imagine :( He was messing about with his mates and he was pushed he clipped the wing mirror of a car, the car owner grabbed him and started punching him :(.

Ds 1 went legging it down there to see if the man was still there he was :) ds1 said oi mate you just attacked my little brother, the blokes answer was yeah so whats it got to do with you? so ds1 got his registration number, just waiting for police to arrive, Plus lots of ds2's mates have said they will be witnesses.

I'll see what I can find in the random jumbly shop (honestly they have all sorts in there!) :)

Can you send a photo of all/ some of the shirts to get there before the actual items?

He's 13 and it was an accident :( I would have been ok for him to be told to be careful, cause I would say the same if in that situation, but no way is he going to get away with attacking my son.

Will measure them once the police have been.

    :)

So how long would it take to ship them by sea and clear customs? Its 11 weeks to Christmas - so if we really pushed it and got them together in a month, would that leave enough time?

Be worth it for the smiles on Xmas day -either that or we get creative about how to get them there:D

Could drive them there in 11 weeks - but that is probably taking the world tour a little too literally :rotfl:

  • Waves hello to new thread:wave:

Sorry to hear about DS Claire.:o

My DD is in hospital- rushed in yesterday due to diabetes playing her up again. Funnily enough the postie delivered a letter to me today, with a marathon place offer for juvenile diabetes research foundation..fate methinks. Yes, i have to raise money for it- but the clincher for me was the fact i get a Pingu shirt:D He was DD2's fav cartoon character when she was little, so it is a no brainer.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
