I get a small pop up window where I enter my MSE user name and the password sent to me by Elaine (if I don't I get the authorization now allowed error). Then when I get to the forum, I enter my user name and the password I chose.
Which one are you failing on? If you highlight the first (un-rememberable (sp?)) password and copy it, you can then paste it into the password field. (I am assuming that you know that you can copy by highlighting and then press CTRL and C. To paste press CTRL and V).
I have checked and I can log onto the forum this morning.

That was it thanks0 -
MG I have paid to go on one of your courses but I have not had any confirmation email that you have received it or anything? Feel a little unnerved about this so maybe that is something that would help on your site amendments. I'm still not able to get on the other site so I'm sorry for posting 'business' on here.
Thanks

Can't get into the matrix site again. Accidentally logged out I think, and then it won't accept log in details again
I haven't been able to log in at all - for some reason it wants me to log in with an unsecured server which I assume having VM broadband ain't gonna happen.
Am hoping the new site will finally allow me to join in the fun

DTxx:o I'm back now
We took our guests to see the animals (brilliant) and were away from the computer.
On Saturday we launch the web-site :j:j:j (It may not actually go live.....but TIA as they say) there will be over 100 people at our house and organising it has been a nightmare but going OK at the moment (just need to source another sound system ) I'd love to tell you how it all is going/went but will probably need to write an essay on the other forum.
And as of last night I can now access all areas, so I've been catching up on the postings over there.
As for K4K, I've been struggling to get a central collecting point without using a personal address and people have been infuriatingly casual about letting me know that they're saying "No" Each time they have been supportive and positive, then they go quiet.....when I chase it up days later it is "sorry No". I think people struggle to refuse me, even when I categorically state that I need a No or a Yes, either one will do
But I've found a place which I may even be able to pay for with Tesco points :rotfl: (I'm just waiting for a response........again)
Although it is late in the day, I think we can only afford shipping - not one of my airline enquiries has produced an offer of free shipping...... But that has an advantage of less complicated import procedures, and no duty to be paid.
So my challenge today is to get an address onto the other forum. (I haven't made contact with DD in 5 days despite attempts, so you can tell how well I'm doing)
Sorry not to keep you aprised, but everytime I got a knock-back I thought "I'll just try this, and if that works I'll be able to report a more positive result......."
Loving the quotes too0 -
With me it had remembered my madeup password everytime since registering first, and I only saw/had to use the matrix generated password prompt screen for logging in since then. So I'd got used to only using one password, and thought that it wasn't using the madeup one at all. That was until this morning. Two prompts wanting passwords, but not saying which one is a little confusing, maybe the next site will be easier.0

OliveOyl! Lovely to see you
look forward to the update! :j
Robsmum - don't despair! I think MG said she was sorting out the admin/password side of things this week... I think she's also in the process of moving the matrix forum to another site, so might be waiting for that? No idea, but she doesn't seem to have been round that much, so is probably ludicrously busy!
I'll try sending you a PM, let me know if you get it and then we'll at least know your messages are working!0 -
Just thought there's lots of talk about positivity on the thread, but what about resilience, I know for me that's been fundamental in coping with what happens.
Anyway on that theme the quote is from Dorothy Fields song lyrics for a Jerome Kern song:
"pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again"
OK, you might need to try something different, making the same mistake more than once is a bad idea0
