Bought - A DRESS !!!!!! Well a tunic really - although my legs look fab in boots with it on. Sorry its a long link - but cut n paste if you want to see.

So I've got the beginning of the list for Madame before the shopping trip.
Gotta go feed the baby - he's jumping on the sofa shouting "wheres my ogurt??" - we will work on his pronunciation later - LOL

Thanks for that MG - they look really nice. In fact, I've just had a little saunter about the Dolly Perkins site. Since the universe has promised it'll be good to me financially, I have to have a look at what's out there - I literally can't remember the last time I bought something I didn't *have* to have..... this is fascinating!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Like the dress and the boots - well done. The dress could carry stronger jewellery, I think.

Another saunter out of lurkdom ... MG once the £££s start rolling in... if you haven't heard of them check out duoboots. As a newbie I'm not allowed to post links (even had to remove the ones from your post :rotfl:) but it's just a dot com. They do different size calves in their boots.

Hi All
I have just received this from the very kind gentleman who emailed the other day:
"I have today given three bags of Football Kit. This comprises 2 to 3 full football kits and some shirts and shorts which I sincerely hope will be of some use to the orphans at the Katha Day Care Centre. It would be great to see some pictures of the children using the kit and seeing some happy faces. I have attached a compliment slip from my Football Club with my details and also the website address of the football club. Would love to add some photos to our website and attach a link to the day care centre to our site. Sincerely hope this is possible" .
As its his request I have copied and pasted in full, all I have to do now is find a way of collecting them, my friend says there is a car boot full
Does anyone know of a rough shipping date yet, as these are in Oxford, and I am in Norwich so its going to take some organising :rotfl:

Just read a post over on the comping board from a young lady who won 20,000 on Loose Women. this is one of the replies that she gaveThanks for all the good wishes, it's really appreciated.
Just thought I'd add that it was an online entry so it proves they do get chosen.
Also, there was a thread on here a little while ago about writing/drawing what you want to win and seeing if it happens - I think the thread was called 'the experiment'. Well... we have a shopping list on the fridge where we cross off items once we've bought them. I drew a picture of a pretty house and wrote '£20,000 deposit' inside and we laughed about it (my mum and dad thought it was very silly and cute). Everyday I would look at the picture and make a little wish that I would win the money and obviously I did !!!!! Now it's probably just coincidence but I know that there was that thread and I think Noel Edmonds believes in that kind of thing as well. Anyway... just an idea to maybe speed up the comping fairy if you're struggling
Yet more proof. How lovely to read things like this. I felt the need to shareSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Wow. Oh yes, I feel the need to *hear* things like this, thanks cherisong.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
