MG - had a reply from my voluntary work place - they've copied me to someone else re room hire, and apparently they only usually let members advertise courses on website, but he's going to ask for a one off :D (I did argue that I am a member :D) Will let you know what happens, and PM you details :)
  • Considering how I thought today was going to pan out...I think the universe is smiling on me!

Not only did my PDR go well (actually, it was great... I got really positive feedback from the VC of the University!! :)) my pleas that I have way too much work to do and not nearly enough time to do it in have been heard! Some of my areas are going to be divided among my colleagues and I will be able to concentrate on the Law School with a side line in Marketing and Capital. Much better than my previous VAST amount of work. I am really happy! :j:j

Oh, and I have just checked my bank account and I have been so :money: that I have more money in it that I thought I had. And I have been paid today! :T:T:T:beer: Going to have to look into savings accounts and stuff! Haven't had to do that for YEARS! :rotfl:

Only downer? Still feel a bit rubbish and hubby has to work late! Still, could be worse!

    fantasia,

Would you mind editing your post a bit - it seems to have made the page size very wide and its difficult to read now.

Fantasia - I know in your shoes I'd be *really* frustrated by whats been going on, but I have to say I love the hieroglyphics that came up :) take heart - it sounds to me like the universe is saying either:
    (a) there's something else its got scheduled for you, or
    (b) you can now spend hundreds of pounds on a new computer :)

I think I need to upgrade anyhow, A lovely Matrix member is having a look at it for me to see if there is anyway to sort the files.
I was getting really cross with myself, as I followed all the instructions and it just did'nt perform, for want of a better word.
I think you are right about the universe, but I volunteered to do this and I feel really bad now because I have'nt delivered.
Not for lack of trying though.

I know I have been here for only a short time but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of family courts? My ex is taking me to court re visiting rights and I would be grateful for any info. Thank you.

it was 10 years ago but it was all down to the court welfare officer interviewing kids/me/him

once he had caused a fuss, he never kept to what the court decided anyway
