Unfortunately this will only serve to fuel their misguided notion that prices are going to fall by 70% and they'll end up in rented for another five years on the back of this.
It's them I feel sorry for. Poor suckers don't know any better. They've already missed the boat paying down the debt at 0.5% base rate for the last 18 months.
Oh dear, oh dear... how very right I was. Only a few days after this phenomenal, dramatic, plunge off the cliff of doom (and other exciting news headline words) it seems people are seeing exactly no change in the market.
"Sit tight!", "Pay your landlord for as long as it takes!" are the cries from those eager not to be the last one out of the door and have to turn off the HPC lights, while all those around them capitulate.

To be honest there hasn't been anything dramatic happening since the mega drop has there?
I don't know what the bears were expecting but it is an anti-climax for them. It hardly got reported in the papers.
I think the penny has finally dropped that nutters on an internet website are not going to change the nations feelings on houses.
If you need it spelt out in laymans terms please allow me:
Figures go up. People go to EA and raise price 1% or so? ....No.
Figures go down. People go to EA and drop price?....No.
If somebody is living in a house they will not sell it cheap. Owning gives you options. Rent it out, get a lodger etc.
House prices would need to drop across the board to make any difference. Somebody living in London will never sell up because house prices in Newcastle dropped 30%.
If you live in SE selling cheaply will just mean you don't have enough for the house up the road selling for 2007 peak price or more.
There is no house price crash going on and won't be. It's stupid to keep trying to say there is. Oh and getting very boring. We love Sarah O Grady0 -
It hasn't even been a week dafty. What do you think was going to happen? a 30% fall since then
The way some are acting on here lately you would think prices had actually fallen more than 30%.
If prices go up in the next few months how will they react to that?
At the end of the day I'm a homeowner. I wouldn't dream of selling cut price unless it was to my current tenant.
I'd just keep it rented out. No big deal.Too many ladyboys has clearly addled Sibley's brain
Listen Gloomy.
You are another one with a ladyboy thing going on.
I've got loads of ladyboys as friends. They sleep at our house sometimes. It's no big deal out here. If I wanted to bag one I would.
Now you obviously watch too many youporn transexual videos and it's filled your head with nonsense.
I personally think most of the bears on here need a shag. If you actually got laid you might stop worrying about house prices and concentrated on more important things.:rotfl:We love Sarah O Grady0 -
