    If used mainly plugged in and you have a reliable supply of electricity, you can just remove the battery and run it on mains power. Every now and again, maybe once per month, you can fully charge and discharge it completely a couple of times it by using on battery alone.

    The Tesco Toshiba Satellite C650-194 doesn't have a webcam either.

    MSI CR610 for £274 has a webcam. If you decide to go for it, test it extensively within the seven day trial period.

    If you're not in a hurry, you can wait to see if something more exciting will appear.
