Top Rated At Risk! So upset anything i can do?

I'm so cross and upset right now feel like i'm going to cry! All my items get posted within 48hs and most 24hrs some even same day beacuse i know how important it is to keep the buyers happy. I've just discovered i'm at risk which basically means thats it for next month because i've been left 3 low stars for dispatch time. I list as 2 days to dispatch so why has this happened? I have no negs only 4 neutrals from 6mths+ ago. I am so angry i could prove with reciepts to ebay that all my items are posted on time. I've just gone and bought a ton of stock for xmas too.
Really upset now and just wondered if it was just me and why does it seem so unfair? I really do everything by the books to keep people happy and now i'm wondering what the point is. I can't do anything if people expect 2nd class to be quicker than it is. Or people have left it by mistake. All my auctions have the option to upgrade to 1st class it's never chosen. Anything i can do other than wait now until will it be december? before i can get my status back? :(

Do you send 2nd class? Worst case scenario if you take 48hrs could this mean: Item bought on Monday, posted on Wednesday, it could be the following week before it arrives. Even if this is within your estimated times buyer won't take this into account - they'll just see it as taking ages to arrive.
  • I agree, i don't sell much but used to send all mine second class my stars were quite low...a few sales sent first class really helped to boost my dsr's.
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

Could this be related to the recent change in the way ebay displays postal services?

    It confused me at first.

This information is vital to sent buyers expectations as to when to expect something and I guess it is possible a change may result in a temporary poor rating for 2nd class while buyers get used to it.
  • Aww I really feel for you, I just sell now and then when having a clear out of mine and the kids stuff. I got upset at the weekend cos someone left me neutral and like you I do everything by the book am always honest, post straight out etc, so I can imagine how you must be feeling with something like this. Deep breaths and calm blue oceans, just wondering if you could maybe offer first class post as the only option for a few months, might be better anyway with christmas approaching and the unrealiability of the post at this time of year? Just a thought.

Take it easy and don't let them get you down xx

I'm running at 4.96 for despatch time and always use 2nd class.

TRS status seems to be a difficult thing to hold on to, its almost as if buyers see it as somehting to be wrecked, I don't know why. I was doing perfectly well, keeping at 4.9-5 across the board 100% feedback, yet within 3 days of getting TRS I got a low star left. How bad is that!

I fully suspect that I won't be getting my discount for very long especially since I rarely sell anything in the UK some weeks and my sale figures (they only take the UK ones) are looking very low.

You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • I had a low star recently for postage costs, even though all my post was undercharged, so ended up now changing to free post and adding on. I have also had a low rating for dispatch time, although like you I always send same day or next day.
I also had one where a mug broke in the post, I sent a replacement, and buyer seemed happy, then I got a low for item as described! - So I think I'm going to lose my TSR soon too. It's really annoying, plus my negative for 'not liking the colour', i'm only 99.8%. - but people still buy.
I think there should be a therapy course or centre you can go to to recover from bad feedback.
