What's that stain on the carpet in photo 2? Is that where they were standing when they realised where things were headed?

Maybe the other's sold, for it looks like they/whoever has an offer.
OK, looks like the East Barn was also a repo and went for a best offer of £293k
    (expired rightmove link)

The West Barn is the one dopester linked to, still on sale, current best offer £295k
    (rightmove link)

Both together won't even reach the original asking price for one of them.

I wouldn't worry too much. They are doing OK.

    Haha.

Thanks for that information poppy10, about the other house.

To me they were asking ridiculous money at £750,000 and later £745,000. Warped prices which I think reveals a lot about their attitude to property. Not even a nice finish.. the kitchen, basic light fittings ect.

Partly their own land, and later acquired land. Assuming they got the land pretty cheap, including the additional land, for as the planning documents show it's been going on since early 2000 prior to the build starting just before the credit-crunch (google maps satellite).

I'd have thought £293K and £295K would have given a developer a profit. Given they were priced so high initially, and very reluctant looking £5K discount... can't help but lean towards a bank having taken control. Just can't see the Wilson's cutting the asking prices so dramatically otherwise.

When I paid for the LR details (title and plan) last year, it was all one plot, edged in red covering all the 3 houses/buildings.

3 houses/buildings = The West and East, Barn (which I've learnt from you they've been named), and The Limes.

All in the name of Judith, with, Mortgage Express having registered charges on it. (I've since formatted my hard-drive and forgot to lift those files to return to my fresh pc).

It's definitely a repo, the language used in the RM ad ("We advise that an offer has been made for the above property in the sum of...") is standard boilerplate text for repossessions.

£750k down to £293k is 61% off. Nearly became poster boys for the 70% club!

No relevant sales showing on Nethouseprice.

    http://www.nethouseprices.com/index.php?con=sold_prices_street_detail&street=HEATH+ROAD&locality=BOUGHTON+MONCHELSEA&town=MAIDSTONE&cCode=EW&year=All&house_style=All&house_age=All&search_radius=&outcode=ME17&incode=4HR

So it has been repossessed direct from the Wilsons rather than someone who bought it from them?

    If only it was true.
    Been away for a while.

Wel, there goes £1,000,000 "profits yet to materialise" down the sh1tter.

Maybe the remaining 698 houses they own will do a smidge better.

    Hope you're well too dopester.:)

Regarding the thread, what I'm interested in, is why everything is in the name of 1 person (Judith), not joint.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
