Hi plmbl, lovely to see you over here. The soup for lunch was amazing and we have some leftover to freeze. Tonight I have decided to make chips in the actif2y and 'home grown' eggs, baked beans and leftover ham from the ham shank. I buy my ham shanks from Cranstons in Hexham or Penrith. Worth picking up if you have a day out some time.
I still haven't put those trousers back on eb4y. I am going to let DD try any one that she likes and then the rest can be sold. I have a few fleece jackets and other bits and pieces too.
I have finished the accounts:j:j:j:j:j:j:j with a lot of help from DS2 and DD. They can now go off to the accountant. It is all a bit complicated so we have done our bit and the experts can do the rest. I feel a huge relief as it has been dragging on and we have all been avoiding sorting everything out. Another NY resolution is to put everything in its correct place in future.:obusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

DS1 is off to Florida tomorrow and has checked my menu plan (I plan a month in advance) to discover we have a curry planned for when he is away. He has persuaded me to change it round so we will have a meat and a vegetable curry and naan breads I bought from Approved Foods today.
I had a letter from la Redoute today to say I missed my September payment. Their usual number is an 0844 and it usually involves waiting a long time so I searched out a freephone number (0500777777) and spoke to someone who removed the £12 charge and has suggested I set up a standing order so I don't forget again. It is very important I pay it off as it is at 32.9%. I have it down to £180 now so have set the SO at £30 per month and hopefully I can pay off extra as and when. Then I started browsing their website and almost ordered something.Luckily I have remembered I am trying to have another NSD.
Today I am going to list at least 5 things on ebay. Now I have written it down hopefully I will stick to it.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

A huge millstone has gone from around my neck
I can get on with the task of saving money and insulating the house. More bubble wrapping of bathroom windows as no one noticed i had bubble wrapperd the family bathroom window.
Today I am going to see if I can find a cheaper way to pay the Barclay loan.
I have about 20 things on ebay. I experimented with some books but don't even have any watchers on the books. I have a few 99p bids on items of clothing so all is not lost.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Tonight we are having corned beef hash. A bit pricier than it used to be as corned beef has gone up in price quite a lot. DS3 has been buying Mr k's cakes so I am going to do a try bake tonight so he has something more substantial to eat at work.
The heating engineer who is supposed to be linking up our wood burner with the radiators failed to show again. And he expressly asked me not to light the fire. We did light it at around 2.30 as I was so cold I couldn't feel my feet.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Things are definitely improving here.
The heating engineer is here and is changing our pipework and thermostats so we can heat the house using the woodburner. I have found a new source of firewood which is very cheap and Mr P has another couple of days work.
I ordered some food from ROSSPA last night after checking prices on my supermarket.com. It seemed to be at least 10% cheaper than other shops and even with the delivery cost I have saved money. When I do my shopping I can't get as much in the car as DD and I go together and have babe and pushchair in the car. I won't carry heavy/sharp items in the main part of the car as if we had an accident baby or we could be hit by flying tins. We have a young man locally who was hit by flying tins when he was travelling in a car when he was a baby and he has some brain damage.
Last night we didn't have corned beef hash as Mr P wanted chips. The men had a couple of slices of corned beef, eggs, chips and beans. Yum.
Tonight we have cottage pie, including lots of vegetables. When the oven is on I will make some more tray bake to be frozen until required.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi, wish we lived closer! I could do with cheap wood!!
What's ROSSPA? Sounds interesting. I am also going to try ham hocks after your recommendation? What do you do with them? Was thinking about pease pudding , or something pulse or lentil based.
