Hi pooh, glad your ok and back posting.
Take care.x.0 -
Today I have to go to the dentist for a filling. The only NHS dentist we could find with space on the books is about 35 miles away so we need to put some deisel in the car. Mr P thinks my appointment time is funny, 2.30
DS3 is now living in USA but is not allowed to work for a couple of months. He has just sent me a message asking if I can lend him £200. I think it is great that my family feel they can ask for help when they need it. Whether I have the finances to help is another matter.
Mr P is still unable to work but we are now able to manage to live more easily on the money we have coming in. We are living on less than a quarter of what we had twelve years ago plus our mortgage has doubled MSE had taught us how to live better for less.
Today my pension goes in the bank. I need to pay my car tax for the year, dental costs, deisel and then the residue will be used to pay of the credit card. I will repost later with figures.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I'm sorry life has felt grim recently, Pooh - and I'm so glad that you feel up to posting again.:)
QUOTE=poohbear59;70523468]Sorry to those who have been worried about me.
I have at last felt the black dog leave and I have hope for the future.[/QUOTE]0 -
Dentist was free as I paid last time I was there.:j:j
My dentist is on maternity leave and her replacement is really rough. I made a hygiene appointment with my own lovely dentist for July. The replacement is the practice owner and she refused to refill my prescriptionIt is only for dry mouth but I will miss it.
The car got to and from the dentist without a refill so today is a NSD.
Plus one of my sons paid off £600 from my credit card today too. :j:j
And I have set up a standing order to pay our mortgage on Mr P's pension day, with an additional £25. I know it is not very much but every little helps, eventually.:)
Tonight's plan is to write a menu plan for the next two weeks and then to get knitting.
I have just started a chunky jacket for DGS who is now a year old. It should knit up quickly.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Yay, she's back
Great to have you posting pooh and that you're improving. I don't know as much as I should about mental health issues, but definitely feel that the interminable rainy winter we all had weighed heavily on the soul and glad the sunnier weather and lighter days are coinciding with your lighter mood.
Boo to locum dentists and having to put diesel in the car. Great news re the weight loss and OPs though. Go you!

I went back to the gym today, wasn't sure about spending time indoors was a good idea. When I got there the teacher had us all outside in the sunshine. It was great, showered now and ready for knit and natter this afternoon. They haven't seen me for ages so it will be nice to go and catch up. Gym cost £4 and then I need £1 for knit and natter.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

This weekend we had some of the cottage to clean, though Mr P did almost everything on Friday as we had a free day. I made some biscuits for our guests and some for us. Saturday night I spent £1.26 at church. Felt a bit mean but it was all I had in my purse, except a £10 note I have been trying not to break into.
Cottage guests left £3.50 in the Hospice box in the cottage so I transferred it to our box in the house. I haven't checked but it must be up to £25ish. I made a payment to them last month of £30. I ask people to make a donation if they use the phone. And any eggs we sell outside of cottage people goes in the hospice box. The hens have just started laying again so hopefully sales will go up again.
Today I am going to see a local photographer who is going to scan a photo of the family croft in Shetland. It seems I inherited the only known photograph of the house while it was occupied. There is a lot of interest in it from many second cousins and cousins. I am hoping it doesn't cost much, I don't want to break into my £10 noteMaybe Mr P has some cash?
I sold a dress on 3bay yesterday for £3.99 . It is only a little but all helps a bit.. We don't pay for all our post office transactions until Friday. That is just the way our PO works. We collect our bread and milk and pay for the lot in one transaction.
DS3 has a bike on 3bay. Or I should I have a bike on 3bay for him. He wants a lot for it as he only used it once before he went back to sea and as he can't come back here for at least 18months he wants us to sell it for him. I have it listed for £899 and have had bids for £350 and £500 but he wants to wait for more. It is in our hall, can't wait to get rid of itI think we will have problems selling it for it's full value because of where we live.
The other thing I am trying to do today is to find my engagement and eternity rings and gold cross and chain plus some crystal jewellery. I had them when we went away in September but don't remember seeing them sinceFeeling frustrated by the loss...
