:( I wrote a long post then lost it again.

Today I have spent a lot. £350 paid back to DD for the hire car we had in USA and Canada. She paid for it on her credit card.

Then £560 paid to DS2's landlord for rent. I had to pay extra as he says I was underpaying him :(

We need prayers for a miracle. We need DS2 to find a job and be free of the big black dog.

Today I am going to roast a piece of pork I found very cheap just before Christmas. I am going to slice it using the electric slicer and eke it out until Friday. I am going to have to put it under lock and key somewhere as boys have a tendency to pick at something like this and then nothing for dinner. I usually wrap it with cling film. About 8 wraps so it is like Fort Knox but sometimes they find a weak spot.

Nothing yet but I have just spoken to him and he actually told me what has been going on. There is yet another application in for him and he has to take proof of no income in this week. The first letter that he has actually received. No ESA yet either but hopefully in the pipeline too.

  • HB are pains! You have to badger them to get anywhere (I know this from tenants who have it and it's taken 8 weeks + before to sort out) hope yours is not much longer for DS! Will you be reimbursed?

Hope DA's car sells soon and you get a good price for it, i'm sure it will be a relief when all is finally sorted :) xx

Still no news on HB for DS2:mad:

He is soooooo difficult to motivate too. Living with two depressed men is difficult sometimes. At least DS3 and I can have normal conversations.

Mr P has gone off for a drive because I asked how we can get the new flooring in the hall to stay together. Where it was clicked together it is coming away right in the middle of the floor. He took it as criticism and I was just trying to find out how to out it right. Anyway, I rang the flooring company and they have asked me to take photos and they will get back to me. It may be a fault with the flooring.

Spends are keeping low too. DS3 is still paying for grocery shopping. £62 last Friday including a blanket as a gift for DGD birthday later this month. He also paid to post things to my brother in Oz.

We have had a couple more trips to empty DA's things from her house. We have two huge boxes for a charity shop and have sorted all the things family members want into boxes for posting. We have a family wedding 14th June so will have lots of things for people to collect from us and it will save on a lot of postage costs :D

We have been busy doing a lot of sorting but our living room is beginning to look like someone from an episode of 'Hoarders'.

Good news on furniture sales. DC has offered me £1000 for the furniture. DA would have been happy with that I am sure. And I got £110 from the local antique shop from a bag of linens and a couple of pieces of jewellery.:D I feel as though we are keeping our heads above water at the moment.

Some really positive things but sadly some not so positive too.
I don't know how you do it, I really don't.
    Keep plodding xx

  • Big hugs on the DH front, hope he has calmed down now and realises how silly he was.

June 14th is a great day to get married! (It's my wedding anniversary :D).

Good news on the furniture/linen/jewellery sales Xx
