  • Don't really count it up but I have been very good recently, until past couple of weeks where I have spent about £500 on 2 jackets, 1 pair boots and a few tops - but winter is coming! I'd say on average these days I spend about £100 a month - not including the occasional handbag. So not bad, I used to be terrible with spending on clothes but lack of space forced me to have a major clear out and giving away bin bags full of unworn clothes made me think before I buy!

Funny thing is I also WISH I had more money to spend :rotfl:I guess if I had the money I could easily spend, spend, spend!

I know what you about changing body shapes though. I try to always feel good about myself even when I put weight on, which of course sometimes happens. The truth is, that clothes do look better when you are at the best weight for your height and shape, but that doesn't mean that you can't look nice at any weight as long as you look after yourself and feel good about yourself

    Wish it were that easy!

I have a looong history of an eating disorder. To me, I look fat at anything more then the weight I was at when I was v.unwell. Guess thats something I have to get used to as theres no way I want to go back into hospital again! But it doesn't seem to go away when I remind myself. Its hard knowing that I used to be a size x and very hard to see that any weight gain over that dress size is anything other then fat.
I also have a gym obsession which sort of rules my life, and my calves! and bumps up any body fat I have (body fat sits ontop of muscle...etc) and I just feel huge! I also find that a more musclar and large figure is just not catered for in any clothes stores. My legs are just too chunky for anything slim fitting for example- I want to wear nice boots and not have to get Uggs as they are the only thing that fit narrow ankles, huge calves!

    Anyway, rant over:o!
  • You see, Ebay that's what I am to lazy for. I just much rather give it to charity than having to deal with posting items and dealing with difficult buyers, refunds etc. It's a great way to recoup some money from purchases but I just can't bring myself to go through the hassle

    Hi there,

I so agree with you here. I am exactly the same. Well at least someone is benefiting.
