Is there a way of finding out if a GP has been suspended from duties or struck off?

Ta. But it says the GP in question still has a license. It's just my GP hasnt been in surgery for over 4 months now...0

In that case they have not been suspended or struck off! Perhaps they have personal reasons for not being there?Gone ... or have I?0

Maybe it is none of your business?
Just because he not been to the surgery etc you come up with wild notions. Why not approach the practice manager and ask why he not around?Loyal to those deserving!!.0 -
Perhaps he has been seconded to a hospital for experience in a specialised field? Perhaps he has a longstanding medical condition either personally or affecting a close family member (compassionate leave???) Why are you suspicious about his absence......there are many vaild reasons why he may have been absent from your surgery that are not really any of your business!0

...Because they have been suspended before and they have had me on the wrong medication for 18 months...0 -

"they" plural? Has more than one GP been suspended previously and if so do you know the reason why?
If there is a GP you do not wish to see at your prcatice I would see someone else. Or if you aren't happy is there another practice you can move to?
I am curious to know how you know that you are on the wrong medication - who has told you?0 -

And "they" as in my GP, you tool.
they
• used as the subject of to refer to people, animals or things already mentioned
Excuse me, but I really don't think there is any need for that! Actually you weren't clear when you refered to "they" but that isn't the point.
If another GP has told you that you are on the wrong medication, then why don't you keep on seeing that GP instead?
Are you saying that another GP told you that the GP in question ("they") has been struck off?0
