Bunch of cowboys. Offer top price then 'make up' damage mark it down in the hope you can't be bothered with the hassle of getting your phone back off them. Avoid0 -
Wish i read the previous.
Just done exactly same to me. I sent my nokia N95 8gb off. they promised me £101.17 if in working order (which it was). £8 special delivery later (as they recommended) They have just sent me an email claiming the facia is damaged, and offered me £60. It certainly wasnt damaged, worn a bit maybe but not damaged.
What a joke. Dont use unless your not bothered about the amount you get.
Seriously thinking about getting it back and sending it else where.0 -

I found them to be very good. I had read bad reviews on them especially about cracks\scratches etc on the phones so I made sure my Nokia 5800 was wrapped up properly as it was in excellent condition. A week later I got my cheque for £85.13, the same amount I was quoted on the web site.
So all round good service.0 -
I was very pleasantly surprised by this company. After reading so many horror stories I was very paranoid about not getting the full amount promised for my phone, so I took tons of photos to prove it's good condition & made sure it was very well packaged.
I sent it off via special delivery on the 11th, I got an email saying they'd received it on the 12th and the money was in my bank this morning! I have to say that I am well impressed with the service I received, very fast indeed.
I'd still take photos of the phone before sending though, just to be on the safe side0 -
Applied on line to cash in phone 19/1/11. Received cheque for full amount 28/1/11. Regular e mails informing me where I was in the process. I did send it special delivery, cost £6 but worth it as phone was valued at £101. Very impressed.

Strange that cashinmyfone gets some bad reviews but envirofone gets good ones because they seem to be the same company. All the phones I have sent to cashinmyfone have been in envirofone envelopes and the argos card they issue even has envirofone on it. Have no complaints with CIMF and I even get extra cashback via the topcashback website.0

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO RECYCLE YOUR MOBILE PHONE.
Cashinmyfone is the biggest scam going, if you don't send your phone recorded delivery and use the freepost envelope (because at the end of the day why wouldn't it arrive this way?!?!) you will not get your money. You will be told that your mobile phone has not been received and has been lost in the post. If you contact them by email you will receive a standard email back saying that they are experiencing postal delays in the Cheshire area and that they have just received a huge delivery and hopfully your phone will be in it! What a load of rubbish, they receive the phones but as you can't trace it they don't pay out.
If you do send your phone recorded delivery you will not get the full working price that you were quoted, they will tell you there is a fault with the phone and offer you a much reduced price.
Also never use envirofone as they seem to be trading as the same company!
The reviews on this site are not too bad which is where i made a big mistake by trusting them, if you put the company into google you will see hundreds of very poor reviews.0 -
