Database Error?

Hello everyone,

I would like to apologise for the problems with the chat servers, we're working on resolving these issues at the moment.

The basics of it is the sheer number of people on the forums (1000+) is hitting our maximum connections limit.

Please be patient and bear with us whilst we work on this issue - we are working as hard and fast as we can to resolve this issue.

I'm really sorry for the inconveniences caused by these issues, soon as they're sorted I'll let you all know.

Edit: If you are missing any images/icons, etc on the forums, please could you paste them here (right-click where the image should be, copy the location and paste it here). This would be very much appreciated.

I had this problem yesterday, as posted on the Hoorah thread mostly from teatime on, it was a pain.:(

i have these errors all day, but intermittantly

but as the wizziwig servers are so quick, it seems to sort iself out very quickly....

I haven't had *that* message, but I have been unable, for the last approx 7 hours, to open any thread on any forum - in fact I couldn't even get the forums list to load except for once in every half a dozen attempts. I have only managed to get this far now by right-mouse and open in new window. I've emailed techie to see if there was a problem, as I couldn't even read anyone's threads to see if it was general, but not had any reply yet.

As for speed - wading through treacle for me I'm afraid.

Please tell me this is just a blip, as it's been driving me demented all day. It doesn't help that on the odd occasion I could load the boards list, I could see "~~ people viewing" - made me feel like an outcast .

Hoping this posts, or one computer is going through the window! :eek:

Its not fast for me either, never has been either before or after the new software

Have typed a reply to a thread in Old Style, and it has refused to post. I have saved it into Word for another try if things improve, but really this is beyond a joke. If I could spare any hair, I'd tear it out! :mad:

It doesn't help to see the homepage saying the new software is whizzing away, or something like that. I am so fed up. This is my daily fix of enjoyment and I am deprived (no not depraved - give me a chance ).

If this does post, could the boards mods or Martin or techies or anyone please put an explanation on the homepage (which seems to open okay) just so we know whether to give it a miss and save all the frustration. Never a minute's problem with the old set-up. Blasted improvements. Mutter mutter.....

It might be working fine for some, but I get the impression you have to be up early in the day to get a slot .
