In all honesty, they are the films that scare me most. Imaginations can be evil
Aren't these type of films just the best, though. Love it.
Hey, like the sound of Insatiable Moon. Checked it out on IMDB, and I'm very much intrigued by it. Sounds more like a play than a film, but that's a good thing for me. Think I'll have to watch out for that one.Invented tradition: Couponology

This is the precise reason why I don't read a review of film before going to see it. It is only one persons opinion and as we are all different, with different tastes we will like different films. Nobody is right and nobody is wrong, we are just different but brilliant all the same:T
The problems with the digital keys can be resolved by the bigwigs in the USA but it takes time and as this is only a preview I don't suppose the managers can be bothered. Don't understand the attitude mind, because they are being paid for the hire of the room. So if it happens a lot I can well understand a cinema being taken off the list, which is a crying shame for the poor people who can and want to use that cinema.
I like hearing other people's opinions. I don't let them bias me, and I don't intend for anyone to take bias from my opinions either. However, isn't a film more exciting to go and see when there is a clear difference of opinion?
Ah, thanks for explaining the key issue. When I heard the courier issue excuse, I nearly fell about laughing thinking that they must think Aberdeen is at the back of beyond. Since this has happened in other areas, I don't feel as if they were trying to pull a fast one - but you never know.Invented tradition: Couponology

I don't understand fully how it all works because some cinemas couldn't show previews when the planes were grounded after the Iclandic volcano chaos. Maybe they only do the internet business when a film is actually scheduled. This is what happened to me, I went to see the first screening of a film one afternoon to find that they hadn't received the digital key and they had to ring head office, ring America do whatever was needed and they got it up and running for the second scheduled screening. Maybe the digital key is couriered in the first instance?
Have just seen an advert showing Looking for Eric is on Channel 4 at 9pm, clashing nicely with Thorne:Sleepyhead!0 -

I went to a screening for 'Looking for Eric' and liked it, but unsure about Thorne: Sleepyhead. That one must've missed my radar. What exactly is it about?Invented tradition: Couponology

As you don't have Sky Tibbs, you won't have seen the adverts for it. Starting Sunday, Sky are showing Thorne in three parts, it is an adaptation from books, the first series is called Sleepyhead. I've emailed you more info. Couldn't pm as my box is full.
I loved Looking For Eric. Not being a Cantona fan I was a little wary but it is such a funny film.0 -

I've been really busy last wee while, and not getting to watch much TV or films for that matter. I've got FreeSat - I thought I was a bit posh with that - lol - just upgraded from FreeView (note the common denominator - the word 'free' is essential for me - in keeping with this moneysaving site) - lol. Thorne sounds really good.
The IMDB has Sleepyhead down as In Production and Status as Post Production.
Is this just not updated, and this refers to the made for/aired for Sky drama or is there a film being made about it? Unsure which. Anyone know?Invented tradition: Couponology

I've noticed that imdb only update when a British programme has aired, This show is on Sky from Sunday, I would think the status would change then. Haven't heard about a film, though it is a possibility I suppose.0 -
I coudn't see a location for you
Thanks anyway Pooch...I was keeping an eye out for my mom, who is up your way actually...she probably wouldn't have gone though - she much prefers the whole experience with me and the kids! I just remember how enthralled she was with the trailer0 -
